Today, Evan came in our room around 7:30. He laid on the floor a bit until I was ready to get up. We came downstairs and just after we got downstairs, Uncle Ron came down. Evan made us watch his shows including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Scooby-Doo.
When Noah got up, we packed up the car and went to the dog park. We wanted to show off Austin to Uncle Ron and he's a dog person so what better than the dog park on Red Bud Isle. Red Bud Isle is in the middle of Lady Bird Lake and so the dogs can go swimming. Evan and I threw the ball to Lizzy in the water and she retrieved it. Noah threw it to her once. I think Uncle Ron was impressed.
After that, we went to Freddie's Place which has a playground and allows dogs to eat there. The boys had a great time playing and Lizzy enjoyed being with us. The patio where you eat is all covered by trees, so again, I think Austin showed itself off well.
We came home and gave the boys baths. They were disgusting from the dog park and the playground. Then we put Noah to bed. Evan, Uncle Ron and I watched Up.
After that, the three of us went outside and I pitched the ball to Evan. Uncle Ron played outfield. Evan was hitting very well. Evan then wanted to show Uncle Ron his bike and his scooter.
For dinner we drove up to the Oasis - another Austin must-see. The food was ok and Evan wasn't that well-behaved but it was really nice outside. We stayed until we watched the sun set. Noah loved holding Uncle Ron's hand as we walked back to the car.
We just put the boys to bed. They seem quiet.
