Cool Monday

This morning it was pretty cool outside.  I think it was in the upper 50s. We all wore sweatshirts on the walk to school, though Noah complained the whole time about how cold was.

While the boys were in school I got the oil changed in my car - very exciting.

Morry picked up the boys from school and Gabby came over while I was out tutoring.

For dinner we had frittata.  It's an easy quick meal.  I just put potatoes, cheese, sometimes ham/turkey, and eggs together and bake them.

The boys are playing wii together now, but we are about to get them ready for bed.

Chilly

Noah woke up early again and went with Morry to drop off Evan.

After I took Noah to school I got some stuff done around the house.

When I picked up Noah at school we headed over to Sam's Club. He was very good there.

We came home to put the groceries away and then started walking to get Evan. We had only walked about a block and it started to get windy and pretty chilly. Noah was cold so we went back to get his sweatshirt. Then, I was worried we wouldn't have enough time to walk to school. We ended up driving to the path like we normally do.

Gabby came over and I tutored.

For dinner we had leftover tacos/tostadas from last night.

We just got the boys ready for bed.

Shopping and Cleaning

This morning Evan gave me a hard time getting ready for school. I was able to get him dressed after a little while, but I couldn’t get him to put on his sweatshirt before Jodie came to pick him up for school. He ended up just bringing his jacket with him in the car since he wouldn’t put it on either.

Noah and I went to Newflower to do some grocery shopping. Noah was very well behaved there. He ate an apple, some samples, and the free kids cookie.

We came home and I put away the groceries. Then we had lunch and Evan came home. I let the boys play for just a little bit and then put them down for naps.

They both took good naps. While they were napping I cleaned out my car. It was really dirty. Then, I was able to nap a little too.

For dinner, Jill and Michael ordered Blue Bamboo for us so Morry picked It up on his way home.

After dinner Evan and Noah played while Morry folded laundry and I cleaned up around the house.

We put Evan and Noah to bed. Noah’s room seems quiet, but Evan is still up.

Here’s a video from earlier today when Evan, Noah, and Lizzy were playing with bubbles.

Starting to feel like fall

After I dropped Evan off at school, Noah and I went to Target and then 24 Hour Fitness for the Latin Dance aerobics class. I’m still not a member of the gym, but since Yenis is, she is able to get me in as her guest. This time Noah did well in the childcare and I was able to finish the class.

I got gas today for $2.66/gal (regular). I’m so glad the gas prices are dropping. It only cost $46 to fill up today compared to $70 I was paying before.

Morry worked from home today since I had a doctor’s appointment (post-op check-up with the ENT) in the afternoon (during the boys naps). Morry picked Evan up at school. When Morry got there, he called out to Evan, but Evan didn’t hear Morry call him. He was too busy playing. Eventually, he realized Morry was there and was super excited. It’s a real treat for Evan when Morry picks him up from school.

The weather was nice today. It cooled down a lot. We took a walk after dinner and we had to wear pants and sweatshirts.
