Another week done
He went over the test results with me from last time. He said everything looks good and there's not sign of arthritis or autoimmune disease (of the ones he checked for). He said he checked for a lot. He doesn't have a diagnosis for me. It could be neuropathy. He working on a combinations of drugs to help me feel better., He added a few to the mix of things I can take as needed.
Today, at Noah's school it was show and tell. He chose to bring his baseball trophy into school. He's very proud of it. Noah was in a good mood after school. We stopped at the HEB pharmacy (which took forever) and the bank on the way home.
Morry walked to get Evan from school. Evan had asked Morry to pick him up today.
The boys played outside in the backyard this afternoon.
For dinner we picked up Blue Bamboo.
Morry is reading to the boys now. They are all ready for bed.

Halloween Fun
Evan and Noah both had parties at their schools. We went to both for a little bit.
After Noah's school, he and I went to HEB.
I tutored one student while Morry went to pick up Evan. Noah and Zayde stayed at home.
For dinner we picked up Blue Bamboo. We ate early and then started the trick-or-treating.
The boys were good and had a lot of fun. We did a lot of walking and ran into Jack's family toward the end. The boys enjoyed walking with them for a little bit.
The kids are getting ready for bed now.
Here are some pictures from today.

Busy Sports Day
We came home and I got ready for a meeting. I had an MB Squared meeting with a potential client at 2pm.
Morry and Noah picked up Evan from school.
Around 5pm Morry took the boys to Noah's baseball practice. Evan helped during the practice. He really liked that the coach asked him to help out. I met Morry and the boys there and then took Evan to his football practice. Evan ate some of his packed dinner in the car on the short ride to practice.
Morry and Noah got to Evan's practice a little after 6:30 and Noah at his dinner there at the picnic table.
Both boys did well at their practice.
On the way home Morry picked up Blue Bamboo for us.
Once the boys were in bed we ate our dinner.
It was a busy evening, but both boys are asleep now.

Wii Preview
After the meeting we came home and I got Evan.
Evan and I went to a Pink Ribbon Cowgirls lunch at Central Market.
Morry picked up Noah from school. We all met at home and then left for this Wii Preview Event.
Someone contacted me through my blog to see if I was interested in attending a Wii event where they demonstrate the new Wii system coming out in December.
I gave the info to Aaron and he and Mandy came with us. We parked at their place and walked across the street to the event. They had lots of little stations with different types of games to try out. The kids were interested at first, but then started acting tired. We left early. We spent a little bit of time at Aaron and Mandy's apartment and then left.
We made a stop at Bicycle Sports Shop and came home.
For dinner we picked up Blue Bamboo. We had the kids clean up tonight. Evan room looked like a tornado hit it.
Now we are going to get the boys ready for bed.

Eye Doctor
He went to school, but I picked him up early around 12:15. I had an eye doctor appointment at 12:30. I had to make it at that time because they didn't have much available. I was worried I wouldn't be done in time to get Noah, so they said it was ok to bring him with me.
Noah was very good there and even pressed the button to take pictures of my eye. He liked that. My prescription only changed a little, but I need to pick out new glasses. I narrowed it down to 6, so I'll have Morry come with me soon to help me choose.
We got Evan from school and came home. Around 4pm Jack's mom called to see if Evan could come over. We walked over there and Noah wanted to stay and play. I talked to Jack's mom for a while and she said it was fine if Noah wanted to stay longer.
For dinner we picked up food from Blue Bamboo.
The boys are taking showers now and then they'll go to bed.

Evan's Birthday
We planned on meeting Evan for lunch and bringing him lunch and donuts for the class.
Evan's class eats very early, at 10:30am. The restaurants Evan likes were not serving lunch at that time. We tried Little Caesars and McDonalds. Little Caesars wasn't open and McDonalds was not yet serving lunch at 10am. We had no problem getting donuts though. Evan asked us to get coffee for Mr. V too. I'm not sure why, but that's what Evan wanted.
We ended up going back home quickly to get lunch together to bring to school since we were not able to pick up any lunch food.
Evan was happy to see us at school. Noah enjoyed sitting with the class in the cafeteria.
Noah had his sports class today and had fun in there.
On the way home we stopped at HEB.
When we got home Grandmom was there. Noah stayed at home while I got Evan at school.
Evan had a baseball game at 5:45 that we all went to.
For dinner, Evan wanted Little Caesars. We got that for him and Blue Bamboo for the rest of us.
For dessert, Evan choose to get Slurpees from 7-11.
The boys had a bath and now they are in bed.
Here are pictures and video from today.

Noah's 4th Birthday
We kept asking him what he wanted to do today and he would just say, "I don't know." We gave him a few suggestions. He finally decided he wanted to have lunch at McDonalds.
We had an appointment at Wonders and Worries at 10am, which Noah was looking forward to. He enjoyed it there and then we met Morry at McDonalds. Morry and I didn't want to eat there so we just ordered food for Noah. Noah ate some there and then we went to Brugger's Bagels nearby so Morry and I could eat lunch. We sat outside to eat and Noah finished his food there.
After lunch we went to Rita's Italian Ice and all got water ice (as Morry calls it). It happened to be free as a First Day of Spring promotion they were having.
We went home and Noah was happy just sitting and watching tv. His stomach was bothering him and I think that's part of why he didn't want to do anything.
I got Evan from school and we went to the book fair. Evan picked out two books. He got Pete the Cat and some other book about space.
At home the boys were happy playing wii and Leapster and just hanging out.
Noah said he wanted to eat at home for dinner. Morry picked up Little Caesars for the boys and Blue Bamboo for us.
After dinner we played in the cul-de-sac for a little bit.
The boys are finishing up their baths now and then we'll put them to bed.
Here's video from Noah's birthday today.

Rodeo Day
Noah was good most of the day. He was excited to go to sports class and did well there.
After sports class he and I went to HEB.
I dropped Noah off at home and picked up Evan.
Evan was supposed to have a baseball game today, but it was canceled because of the rain. They didn't make the decision until both teams were already at the field.
Morry picked up Blue Bamboo on their way home from the canceled game.
Noah fell asleep on the couch while they were gone and woke up super cranky. He threw a fit lasting around 45min and we couldn't even figure out what he was so worked up about.
Soon, we'll get the kids ready for bed.
Here's some video and pictures from today.

Picnic at the Playground
At the school the boys played on the playground and then we played baseball. I pitched to Evan and then Noah decided he wanted a turn. He actually hit quite a few balls that I pitched to him.
I packed a picnic lunch for the boys and we ate at a table there.
We played a little more after lunch and then walked home. Noah walked the whole way home.
At 4pm a handy man came over to give us some ideas for putting up a door in the upstairs office/nook.
While he was here the doorbell rang. Evan's friend Jack was riding his bike near our house and wanted to see if Evan wanted to come play in the cul-de-sac. Jack was with his mom and sister so Evan, Noah, and I joined them down the street. Evan rode his bike just a little bit, but spent most of the time on his scooter. Noah had fun on his tricycle.
Tonight, we went to Petco, Toys R Us (to use some gift cards), and Blue Bamboo to take home food.
We just finished eating dinner at home and now we'll get the boys ready for bed.

UT and a Birthday Party
After that we walked around campus a little bit. We bought some Texas stuff at the Co-op (bookstore) and got a bite to eat at Einsteins Bagels.
Morry dropped us off at Kevin's birthday party at a jumpy place. He met someone for a lunch meeting. Towards the end of the party Morry came to pick us up. Evan and Noah had a great time and were worn out.
We took it easy the rest of the afternoon and evening. For dinner we picked up Blue Bamboo and made pasta for kids.
Morry and the kids watched a little bit of the Longhorns football game and then we got them ready for bed.

Shopping with Noah
Noah and I went to both Target and Walmart today. We got some Halloween clearance items, but also some other things for the house. While we were at Target I bought Noah popcorn and a hot dog at the little cafe they have there. He ate while we shopped.
We went straight from there to the Little Gym for Noah's sports class. Noah really had fun today. At the end of class they called the parents in for a game called "Smash the Cheese". Noah was very excited during the game.
We came home for just a little bit and then it was time to pick up Evan.
After school we went to the park with Evan's friend Ben, his mom, and his sister. We stayed there for about an hour.
When we got home it was rest time. Evan had a baseball game tonight and I wanted to make sure they got some downtime. They maybe had about 45 minutes or so.
Tonight was the first baseball playoff game. Evan's team won because the other team had to forfeit. They didn't have enough players. They still ended up playing a game, but it was just for fun. So now, Evan has another game tomorrow night. We weren't planning on that. That was a surprise.
I took the boys home and Morry picked up food for us from Blue Bamboo.
After dinner we had clean up night. The boys cleaned their rooms and the game room. I cleaned all of the floors both upstairs and downstairs. I mopped and vacuumed.
It was another long day.
The boys are in bed and it's pretty quiet upstairs.

Quest for a frozen treat
After dropping of Noah I went to my hair appointment. I was supposed to have a meeting afterwards, but it took a long longer than I thought. I'm not sure why. I ended up pushing my meeting to Monday.
I had just a little bit of time before I had to get Noah so I went into Nordstrom to get new Toms shoes.
I picked up Noah from school and he told me he wanted a smoothie. We were going to HEB so I said he could get an ICEE there. At HEB, the cherry ICEE wasn't working and the only other one was Coke flavored. I didn't want to give Noah Coke, so I told him we could get Blizzy's (shaved ice) after picking Evan up. Noah was pretty excited about that.
We picked up Evan and headed over to Blizzy's. It was closed. There was a sign up saying they were closed for the season and would reopen May 2012. The boys were disappointed.
We headed over to another shaved ice place and luckily they were open. Evan and Noah got rainbow flavored shaved ice.
We had a 3:45 birthday party to go to and went there right after we finished the shaved ice.
Morry met us at the party at Locomotion after work.
Morry picked up food for us on the way home and I brought the kids home. Evan was really bad at home. I had to put him in time out in his room. I think he's just overly tired.
We are about to put the boys to bed. We have to get up early for Evan's football game at 9am tomorrow.

Meet the Teachers
We dropped Morry off at work and then went to Barnes and Noble. I read some Hawaii books while the boys played at the train table.
We were home for a little bit and then I was time to go to the open houses at the school.
First, we went to Evan's school. His teacher seems really nice. We have heard really good things about him.
Then, at Noah's school we spent a lot of time. Noah and Ms. Terry were very happy to see each other. There were a lot of kids and their siblings playing in the room. Noah seemed totally comfortable even though it was a new room for him.
Morry got the boys dinner ready while I ran out to pick up our food at Blue Bamboo and I got more food for Lizzy while I was out.
We just finished dinner.
Tonight is clean up night. Well, really it should have been last night. The boys have a lot of cleaning up to do.
Here's a video from today.

Gym and Central Market
Last time I went to the CM lunch the boys were not very well behaved. I thought I'd see how they were doing this morning and them make my decision about going. They were pretty good this morning and played in the child care at the gym so I thought they would be ok.
I don't know what it is about Central Market, but something there makes them have to go to the bathroom multiple times.
The boys were fighting at the table and then when I was trying to talk to someone Noah kept interrupting saying, "Mommy, I'm talking to you."
We were sitting inside by a window. On the other other side of the window was a fenced in balcony with more seating. I asked the boys if they wanted to sit outside. So, I sat them at a table near the window where I could see them and they ate their lunch outside while I tried to eat mine and talk to people inside. It worked a little. They still came in multiple times for various things.
After lunch Evan and Noah played on the playground and then went back in Central Market to pick up a few groceries. A few days ago Evan said he wanted to do Shabbat. We were talking about it and the fact that there is a Jewish holiday every Friday. While we were at CM we picked up a challah.
At home, they were both hyper. Neither one took a nap.
For dinner we picked up Blue Bamboo and we did the candles, wine, and challah. We let the boys have a sip of wine and Evan said it tickled his throat. After dinner I made chocolate chip cookies.
Morry is reading to the boys now and then they will hopefully go to sleep.

Shopping without the boys
Evan has been asking me for awhile to go back to Clubhouse for Kids. I decided I would drop them off there so I could get some shopping done. I quickly made a sack lunch for the boys and dropped them off at Clubhouse for Kids.
I was able to get my shopping done and the boys had a good time. It was good for everyone.
Noah actually took a nap today.
For dinner Morry picked up Blue Bamboo for us. While he was gone I made dinner for the boys and juice for everyone.
We just got the kids ready for bed. Morry is reading to them now.

Trying to get better
Morry took the kids out for a little bit and when they came back we had lunch.
At nap time Evan and Noah lied on the couch and watched tv.
For dinner Morry picked up Blue Bamboo for all of us.
We just gave the boys bath and put them to bed.

Comic Books
This morning we asked Evan where he wanted to go and he said the bookstore. Evan said he wanted Ironman books.
We went to the Borders in Southpark Meadows and found the comic book section. We let Evan and Noah pick out two books/magazines. Noah got Toy Story and Disney magazines. Evan picked out a Batman and Superheros comic books.
After the bookstore we picked up food from Chick-Fil A and ate lunch at home.
For dinner we picked up food from Blue Bamboo and also ate at home.
Evan and Noah are drawing superhero pictures now. In a few minutes we’ll take them upstairs, give them baths, and put them to bed.
Tomorrow is school. We’ll see how it goes with Noah.

Morry’s Turn
Well, Morry is sick now. He started not feeling well this morning and by the time he was driving home he had the chills and a fever.
Evan, Noah, and I stayed at home again today. I thought they seemed to be getting better today. Evan didn’t have a fever when I took it under his arm this morning.
By the afternoon both boys became cranky.
After lunch we went on the upstairs porch so that I could give Lizzy a haircut. I left the door open a crack. Somehow Noah managed to close the door and lock Lizzy and me out on the porch. I knocked for Evan but he didn’t hear me. Right as I was starting to figure out what to do I saw Blanca drive up in her driveway. I asked her to come in the house (through the garage) and unlock the door for me. Noah was very happy to see Blanca.
I tried putting Noah down for a nap. He cried for almost 30 minutes and eventually fell asleep, but only for a little bit.
When Morry got home he wasn’t feeling well. I ran out to HEB to pick up some orange juice, medicine, and few other things. I also picked up dinner for us at Blue Bamboo.
We just put Evan and Noah to bed. They were both acting like they didn’t feel well again tonight. We’ll see how they are tomorrow. If they still aren’t doing well we’ll probably take them to the doctor again tomorrow.

Cousins
After lunch we decided to go to City Park, a park on the lake. As we turned on the street to get to the park a sign said the park was at capacity and they weren’t letting anyone else in. We decided to drive down there anyway and just see if they might let us in. It was very crowded at the entrance and were not allowed to drive into the park. Since it was getting close to nap time we all decided just to go home and meet up later.
While Noah was napping at home, I took Evan out with me to do some shopping. Old Navy was having a sale on t-shirts so Evan wanted to come with me to pick out more superhero shirts. Also, Evan has been wanting GeoTrax and a light saber toy for a while. We made a deal with him and said he could pick out one of those if he agreed to give up his pacifier. He was very excited by the idea and couldn’t wait to get to Target. We spent a long time in the toy section at Target, but Evan finally decided it was GeoTrax that he wanted.
For dinner Jamie, Nate. Olivia, Matt, and Rachael came over to our house. We ordered dinner from Blue Bamboo and made pasta for the kids. It was a fun evening. The kids enjoyed running around and playing together.
We just put Evan and Noah to bed. Evan told us he didn’t want his GeoTrax anymore, he wanted his pacifier back instead. He had a little bit of a hard time with the fact he wasn’t going to get his pacifier back. He said he was angry with both of us. A few minutes after putting Evan to bed he came out and said he needed something for his mouth. It seems quiet now, so hopefully he’s asleep or almost asleep.
