Bucky, Thanksgiving Week, Emory

Here's everything that's been going on the last few weeks.

We had a very sweet foster dog named Bucky.  He had some complications after a nutering and had a rough recovery.  We felt so bad for him.

Luckily, a very nice family adopted him and we've been getting updates about how well he doing.

Here are a few pictures of Bucky.

We had a nice Thanksgiving week.  Michael's family came in town and we had Thankgiving at Uncle Marvin's and Aunt Sandy's house.  Noah did the neighborhood Turkey Trot with his friend Jackson on Thanksgiving.

Here are some pictures from ice skating and Thanksgiving.

On Friday, we got a new foster dog, Emory.  He's a 6-month old happy puppy.  He's been great so far.  We took him on a 3 mile walk around the lake today.  Here's a picture of Emory.

Tomorrow, it's back to work and school for everyone.

Pittsburgh & Halloween

Morry and Evan were in Pittsburgh from Thursday to Monday visiting schools. They had a great time.

I picked them up at the airport yesterday.

Last night, Noah went trick-or-treating with friends.  Evan helped us pass out candy for a little bit and then went trick-or-treating with one of his friends.

We all had a nice night.

Here are a few pictures.

1st Place

This morning Noah, Grandma, Papa, and I did the More than Pink Walk for Susan G. Komen.  We started out walking together and Noah decided he was going to run it.  So, we said we'd meet up at the end.

We had a nice 3 mile walk.

At the end when we found Noah he told us he was the first one across the finish line and they gave him a hat!

After the walk, Papa made omelets for us.

In the afternoon, I met with a woman about tutoring her kids.  While I was there her neighbors hit my car with a pickleball and it left a dent, so now I have to deal with that and hope they take responsibility for it.

Noah and I went to HEB.

Then, I met the bike group for an outdoor movie (The Goonies) at a bike shop in East Austin.

Here are some pictures from today.

Running and Partying

On Thursday, Noah had a cross-country meet at Del Valle High School.  Grandma and Papa came with me to watch him.  He did well despite it being very hot and sunny outside.

Last night was the high school homecoming dance.  Evan and his date, Marley, went to dinner first at Satellite and then to the homecoming dance.   Noah went with friends to Whataburger for dinner and then the dance.

Evan and Marley didn't stay long at the dance.  The line to get in was very long.  They got there early and barely had to stand in line.  Noah and his friends had to stand in line for a while.

Noah said he had a good time.

Here are some pictures from the last few days.

Today, Morry and I went to the farmers market at Mueller.

Tonight I went to a challah baking event at Chabad.

Here are some pictures from the weekend.
