No Baseball

This morning we walked without Lizzy.

Then, Morry and I went to Camp Gladiator.

Morry left early to get back for a meeting.

After CG, I drove over to the private school to tutor.

From there, I met a friend for lunch at Kerbey Lane.  A woman from our old playgroup was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, so I met with her.  Luckily, it was caught early.

Then, I was home for just a little before it was time to go back out for tutoring.

Morry picked up the kids from school.

They went over to Grandma's tonight for dinner.  Papa is out of town.

Morry and I walked with Lizzy to pick up the boys.

Now, they are playing a new Pacman video game Noah got.  He ordered it for Hanukkah, and it was released today.

Soon, the boys should get ready for bed.

Baseball and Baseball

This morning we walked to school without Lizzy.

We went to Camp Gladiator and from there I went to tutor.

In the afternoon we walked again to pick up the boys from school.

Right after getting home Morry and Evan left for baseball.  Evan had a baseball lesson and then baseball practice.

I tutored one student from 4-5.

Noah requested waffles for dinner.

Morry and Evan just got home from baseball (8:30).  They picked up Subway for Evan for dinner.

Now we will get the kids to bed and then eat our dinner.

Three!

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Evan didn't have to play until 4:00 today so we had no reason to get up early.  I don't know what time the boys got up but hopefully they slept in some.  I can downstairs around 9:30.

Evan and Noah ended up going out and playing with Jack for a while.  Then they went and played in the front yard.

Rachel went for a run.

I made lunch for Evan and got his uniform ready.  Around 1:20, I took him to meet Reid's mom.  She was going to take Evan and Reid up to the fields for warm ups.

Rachel took Noah to a birthday party shortly after I got home.

I waited an hour and then drove up to catch the end of Evan's warmups.  Luckily I got there early because the game actually started early.  In the first game, Evan batted fourth.  He came up with a runner on.  He crushed a ball between short and third for a single knocking in the run.  Then he stole second and stole third and scored on a grounder.  Later in the game, he had a great at-bat that ended up in a strike out but the ball got past the catcher.  He ran to first safely and the moved to second when the catcher threw the ball away.  He stole third and scored on another bad throw.  TRPD won that game.

But Evan saved his best for the second game.  He started the game at catcher.  In the bottom of the first, a runner tried to steal second.  Evan fired a perfect throw but unfortunately, the shortstop dropped it.  Later in the inning - with two outs - another runner tried to steal on Evan and this time Evan's throw was perfect and the shortstop held on for the out.  In the bottom of the second, there was a runner on second.  He tried to steal third.  Evan easily threw him out.  In the third, another runner tried to steal second and Evan threw him out.  No one could believe that Evan threw three runners out.  This is not like Little League where the runners can't lead off.  This is like Major League Baseball where runners get leads and the pitcher tries to hold them on.  Yet Evan threw three runners out and should have thrown a fourth out.  After that, the team just stopped running.  They couldn't take the chance.  TRPD won that game to finish 4-0 for the weekend.

On the way home, we stopped and got Popeye's for Evan.  That's what he wanted for dinner.

Rachel and Noah had gone to an Oscar Party that Jack's mom was throwing.  Noah played with Jack during the party.  They just got home.

The boys are getting ready for bed.

Until next time...

.800

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Evan had his second tournament of the season today.  Evan, Reid and I left this morning around 6:50 to get up to Taylor for warmups.  We stopped at Donut Taco Palace on the way.

In the first game, Evan played first base.  He came in to pitch during the third inning with no outs and at least one runner on base.  He was able to get out of the inning, completing it with a strike out.  When he got the strike out, he punched his glove and yelled in excitement.  In the fourth, Evan got up 0-2 on the first batter and threw one low and inside.  It appeared to hit the dirt and go under the feet of the batter.  The batter said it hit the sole of his shoe so they sent him to first base.  Evan was not happy.  He threw over to pick the runner off.  The runner was safe.  So the first baseman threw back to Evan who appeared to catch the ball - except the first baseman didn't throw over to Evan.  He still had the ball and tagged the runner when he stepped off the base.  Apparently, Evan and the first baseman had talked about doing that play in the dugout.  He got out of that inning and we won the game.

In the second game, batted in the second inning.  He led off the inning, singled, stole two bases and came around to score on a hit.  We didn't have a hit or a run up to that point and it kicked off a 4-run inning.  Evan ended the game with two more hits.  All in all his final batting line - 4 for 5 (.800) with 2 RBI, 2 Runs, and four stolen bases.  He looked terrific all day.

Rachel, Noah, Grandma and Papa were able to come to the second game to watch Evan.  Noah ended up riding home with me.  We stopped and got a few slices of pizza at a pizza place in Taylor.  Then we stopped at the mall to get my computer.  After that we got gas, and then medicine for Noah at HEB.

Rachel, Grandma and Papa stopped at a restaurant and got lunch called Biderman's.  It's supposedly going to be a Jewish deli but it's not ready for prime time yet.

When we got home, the boys went out in the cul-de-sac and played basketball.

For dinner we just had leftovers and watched Timeless.

The boys are getting ready for bed now.

Until next time...

What's My Wine

This morning we walked to school without Lizzy.  Poor Lizzy.

I took my car in for an oil change.   Morry picked me up and we went to bagels.  As we were finishing eating I go the call that the car was ready.

We walked to pick up the kids from school.

Around 4pm Morry took the boys to the school to meet their friends.

Then, a little before 5pm he picked them up and brought them over to Grandma and Papa's house.  They were going to have dinner together and then go to services.

Morry and I went to the What's My Wine VIP Launch.  There's an app that helps you figure out what wine to buy.  They were having a launch party and invited me.  Morry and I thought it would be  chance to learn more about wine and figure out what we liked.

It was pretty crowded.  We only got through one of the stations that had 7 different wines to try.  They were okay.  We chatted with a few people there.  I spent a lot of time talking to another Instagrammer who had interest in perhaps getting an app made.

We left the party around 7:15pm.

From there, we picked up food for dinner at Madam Mam's.

Evan's friend, Reid, from baseball, met us there and we took him back to our house to spend the night.

We got home and a little while later Grandma and Papa dropped the boys off.

Now everyone is ready for bed.  Evan and Reid are set up in the game room in sleeping bags.

Here are some pictures from tonight.

Another Non-Stop Day

It was another packed day today.

We walked to school, but left Lizzy at home so that she could rest and not overdo herself.  She's still limping.

Then, we went to Camp Gladiator.

From there, I left to tutor.

On my way home from tutoring I stopped at Whole Foods for some more probiotics and other groceries.

Morry met some friends for a barbecue lunch.

We walked to pick up the boys from school.  By then, it was in the 80s outside.

Noah got invited to hang out with Jude after school.

Morry and the boys left the house shortly after getting home.  Morry dropped on Noah at Jude's and then took Evan to baseball.

I left to tutor again.

On my way home from tutoring I picked up a few things from Walgreens.

I got home around 7:30 and we ate dinner - crockpot Coke ham, raw veggies (including purple carrots I picked out at Whole Foods), and fruit.

The boys are in bed now.

Very Very Busy Day

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Today both Rachel and I were going non-stop.  We took the boys to school and then came home.  I was at home for about an hour before I left to go to Aaron's where I worked for the day.

Rachel left just before me to meet a client for a meeting.  She said the meeting went well.

At Aaron's, we had two phone meetings back-to-back with Focus Forward.  Then we grabbed some lunch and then we went over some things for a potential client as well as some projects we already have going on.  I was not able to go with Rachel to pick up the kids.

I got home just after Rachel left to go tutor.  I was home about 30 minutes before Evan and I left to go to his baseball practice.

Noah stayed home alone until Rachel got home.  Then they picked up Grandma and went to a grand opening for a place called the Parking Spot which is airport parking.  They are opening their second location at the airport - this time on the other side of the highway.  Rachel was invited as a blogger and she was able to bring guests.  They had pizza and another food truck.  They also got a goody bag.

Evan and I went to dinner at a new pizza place called Jersey Giant Pizza.  The small pizza is 18".  We both really liked it.  We managed to eat 3/4 of the pizza.

The boys are now sleeping.

Until next time...

Noah the Teacher

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Today was a day off for the boys from school as well as Camp Gladiator for us.  Actually there was a session today but rain drove it indoors to a very cramped space.  We decided to pass this morning.

I had a quick call with HomeAway and then we had to go into the school for parent-teacher conferences.

First, we went to Evan's class.  His teacher told us that Evan was very popular (we had a good idea of this) and that it's a time when boys and girls start noticing each other and that Evan was a good looking kid.  She said she didn't want to embarrass him.  Evan insists he doesn't care about girls, though he has friends that are girls this year for the first time.  He also said that no girls "like" him though that goes against what the teacher said.  So who knows?  The reason she was telling us was  not to embarrass him but I guess there was a brief period that Evan wasn't paying as much attention to school as much as his social life but he's figured it all out and the balance of school, social life, and sports.  But in general, he is doing well and has improved and she's happy about where he's at.  His grades are good.

I spent some time talking to Evan's reading and writing teacher after that.  She's a tougher teacher, though I like her.  She's good for Evan.  She holds him accountable.  She also has a daughter in high school that is very serious in soccer so while she's tough on Evan at times, she understand his baseball commitment.  We had a really nice conversation and Evan has improved with his organization in her class.

Meanwhile, Rachel went to see Ms. Crenshaw with Noah for his conference.  When I got there, Ms. Crenshaw was telling them how great Noah is doing.  As they start to plan for next year, Ms. Crenshaw asked each kid if there was a student they'd want to go with them to their 4th grade class.  Out of the seven kids before Noah's conference, five kids said they wanted to go with Noah.  Apparently, Noah has been teaching math to his fellow students.  She has them work in groups and when they don't understand the math, Noah explains it to them.  She said that Noah is really good that if they don't understand the first time he explains it, he is able to come up with a new way to teach them.  She had Noah demonstrate for us.  I guess they were working on irregular fractions.  She asked Noah to explain irregular fractions to Rachel before I got there.  He was explaining what 9/4 were.  She said it was different than how she taught it to the class.  Then when Evan and I got there, he explained what 9/4 were a different way than he had explained it to Rachel, but still different to how Ms. Crenshaw taught it.  Noah told me that when she pairs kids up, several times kids have asked to be paired with Noah that aren't in his circle of friends.  He said he was surprised.  Noah told us that he also helps other kids with reading.  While Rachel and I are aware that Noah is very bright and we have been aware that Ms. Crenshaw thinks very highly of Noah, this was a whole new side of Noah that we hadn't known about.  It's terrific.  We are really, really proud of Noah.

We came home and Rachel got food for the boys for lunch.  She then left to go tutor.

Meanwhile, I had a call with Focus Forward.

Around 3pm, Evan and I left for his hitting lesson.  Rachel stopped at Target on the way home so Noah was by himself for a bit.

For dinner we grilled hamburgers.

The boys are upstairs getting ready for bed.

Until next time...

Winners

This morning the kids watched the Middle School movie we rented for them from Redbox.

I went for a run.

We all left the house around 12:15.  I dropped off Evan at Applebee's for his ride to his baseball scrimmage game.

Morry took Noah to his football tournament.

Then, I met Morry and Noah at the game.

Noah had a game scheduled for 1:00 and if they won, they would play in the championship game at 3pm.  Noah's team won, so we waited around for the second game.  Noah's team won that game too and were the winners of the lower division teams.  Noah played very well.

From there, we went to the end of Owen's birthday party at the bowling alley.  We arrived just in time for pizza and cupcakes.  Noah spend about 45 minutes with his buddies and then we went home.

For dinner we had a frozen Asian meal and egg drop soup.

Now the boys are getting ready for bed.

Lego Batman

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

With nothing planned this morning, everyone slept in.  Evan actually slept until 8:30 which is really good.  He normally gets up early.

The boys and I hadn't gone to a movie on a weekend morning since November.  So we decided to go to see the Lego Batman movie. It was really good.  It almost seemed more aimed at adults than kids.  There were a ton of references to other things.  I think I would have to see it many more times to catch all of the references.

Rachel went for a run while we were at the movies.

We were home for a bit before Evan and I took Noah to his football practice.  Evan and I played basketball for some of Noah's practice.  Then I dropped Evan off at a birthday party and went back and got Noah.

For dinner, Rachel, Noah and I went to Maudie's.  It was really good tonight.

We're about to go get Evan from the birthday party.

Until next time...

Hopdoddy

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

I had two phone meetings this morning - both with Focus Forward.  Rachel was a part of the second meeting with them as we talked about SEO.

After our meetings we went to Wholy Bagel for lunch.

We picked up the boys from school.  Evan seemed in a bad mood.  I think he was tired.

Evan had baseball practice tonight.  Braeden's dad offered to take Evan.  I met them at Applebee's.

When I got home, Rachel, Noah and I left and went to South Congress to eat at Hopdoddy.  It's a burger place that is always crowded here in Austin.  I had been one time, but Rachel hadn't been.  We probably waited 30 minutes to order. When we left the line was out the door and around the building.  The burgers really are quite good.

We then met Braeden and his dad with Evan after practice.  We stopped at Craig O's to get dinner for Evan.

When we got home we watched Timeless.

The boys are getting ready for bed.

Until next time...

Book Fair

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Lizzy is still getting some time off to recover from her pulled muscle or pinched nerve or whatever she had that was causing her to limp last week.  She stayed home on our way to school.

I worked from home all day today.

Rachel had an doctor's appointment.  On her way home she stopped at HEB.

When we picked up the boys, we stopped in at the second book fair of the year.  We let the boys each spend $10.

After that, Rachel went to tutor and I took Evan to baseball practice.  Noah and I went to a coffee shop while Evan was at practice.

For dinner, we had rotisserie chicken.

The boys are getting ready for bed.

Until next time...

Valentine's Day 2017

This morning it was pouring rain around 6am.  Lizzy came into Noah's room and woke him up around that time.  She did not like the sounds, I guess.  Then, she barked to go outside, so Morry got up and let her out.

We drove the kids to school since it was raining.

Morry and I went to Camp Gladiator, but it was indoors today at a nearby church.  We had to leave early so that Morry could get on a phone meeting.

Later in the morning I went to Costco and then Whole Foods for the Pink Ribbon Cowgirl lunch.

Morry was at a Homeaway meeting this afternoon.

I came home for a little bit.   Deborah came over to laser Lizzy.

Then, I walked to pick up the boys from school.

Morry got home around 3:30.

Shortly after that we left the house.  First, we stopped at Big Top Candy Shop, our annual Valentine's Day tradition.  Then, we went to the airport to pick up Grandma and Papa.

For dinner, we ate at Me Con Bistro.

After dinner, we went to Grandma and Papa's house to exchange Valentine's gifts.

Now that we are home the boys are making a Candy Bros video of them trying the new candy they got.

Busy Monday

It was another busy day.

We walked to school and then went to Camp Gladiator.

I got my blood drawn this morning for an upcoming checkup.

This afternoon we walked to get the kids.  Shortly after getting home we all left.  Morry took the boys to Evan's baseball lesson and left to tutor.

I got home around 7pm.

For dinner, we had ribs that we had previously made and frozen.

The boys should be getting ready for bed soon.

Season Kicks Off

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

The baseball season kicked off this weekend with Evan's first tournament.  I know that there has been snow all over the country, but here in Austin it was around 80 degrees the last two days.  Evan's first game was not scheduled to start until 4:45 yesterday, so we had a very easy morning/early afternoon.  Rachel and I took a walk and then had lunch.  Evan and I took Noah to his football practice.  Noah scored a touchdown on a big run at his practice.  From there, Evan and I left to go to the tournament.

Evan played right field and then later came in to pitch in the first game.  He didn't get a whole lot of opportunity in right field.  When he pitched he did well.  He had some bad luck and bad defense, but overall, I thought he looked good.  He's a bulldog when he pitches so he doesn't let that stuff bother him.  He gives it his all every time.  The team lost the game, unfortunately.

Rachel and Noah came out for the second game.  Evan caught in that game.  He did well catching.  He becomes a leader when he puts the catcher's mask on.  It's fun to watch.

At the plate, he walked once, struck out and grounded out twice.  The team lost both games so we had to be back at the fields this morning at 8am.

In the first game, Evan caught again.  He came close to throwing the first runner of the game out at second.  It was so close that the other coach stopped having the kids steal on Evan.  We know that coach, but the coach didn't realize it was Evan behind the plate until later.  He came to me later and told me that was his fastest kid that Evan almost threw out.   Evan also had two hits, including a bit two out hit that kept an inning alive and led to the team winning the game.

We came home and brought Evan's friend on the team, Ayden with us.  Their next game was not until 3pm.

Evan, Ayden and Noah all played together and made bottle flipping videos.  I made them waffles and eggs for lunch.

After lunch, I took Evan and Ayden back to the field.  Rachel took Noah to his football game.

Noah's team won the football game.  Noah said he caught a pass and had a short run.  He also pulled at least one flag.  Noah said he had a good time.  I was disappointed that I didn't get to see the game.  I'll get to see Noah's game next weekend.

In Evan's baseball game, he was back out in right field.  In the bottom of the first a big left handed kid skied a ball to deep right.  Evan tracked it well and settled underneath.  He casually put his glove up to catch it and then dropped it.  It rolled to the wall.  Meanwhile, the boy tried to stretch that hit into a double.  Evan picked up the ball off the wall and threw a perfect strike to second base to get the kid out for the third out.  Evan literally jumped in the air, screamed and pumped his fist.  He raced in while the coach was cheering for Evan.

One inning later, with two outs, a boy crushed a ball to right center which bounced off the wall.  Evan bare handed it off the wall, turned and threw directly to second again - and again getting the runner out.  Evan reacted the same way except he held up two fingers and yelled "Two!!"

In the top of the third, Evan came up to bat.  The boy who Evan got out in the first was pitching and had a perfect game.  The first pitch almost hit Evan.  He jumped out of the way.  The next pitch hit him in the leg.  Evan got knocked to the ground but got up and ran to first.  Unfortunately the pitcher, who was left handed, was able to pick Evan off at first base.

TRPD ended up losing but Evan seemed happy with his performance this weekend.

For dinner we had leftovers.

The boys are in bed.  Until next time...

Early Bagels

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Rachel had a meeting with the Austin Tennis Academy this morning after walking the boys.  The brother of one of the students that Rachel tutors goes there for school.  I guess it's a way to get better at tennis where you go to school and do tennis each day.  Anyway, the boy needs some help and Rachel is going to go to the school to tutor this boy three times a week.  The school wanted to meet Rachel first.  Rachel said it was a good meeting and there is the potential for Rachel to tutor more students there.

After her meeting, I met Rachel at Wholy Bagel.  It was good.

We walked to get the boys...well boy.  Evan went home with Wade.  Noah walked home with us.

One of Noah's friends was going to be back at the school at 4 and invited Noah to join him to play around there.  Rachel took Noah over there.  Noah played with his friend and another boy.

Rachel and Noah picked Evan up on the way home.

For dinner, we ordered Pizza Hut and watched Timeless.

The boys will be getting ready for bed soon.

Until next time...

Driving

This morning we walked to school without Lizzy and then went to Camp Gladiator.

I left CG early to take Grandma and Papa to the airport.

I spent a lot of time in the car today.

Morry had a meeting this afternoon, so I had to get Evan to baseball.

I had tutoring scheduled for 4:15-5:15 and Evan's baseball is from 4:00-5:00 about 20-30 minutes away from one another.

I drove to pick up the kids from school and then took Evan to baseball a little bit early.  Noah came with me to tutoring and then we drove back to pick up Evan from baseball.

We got home around 6:30.

For dinner we had baked breaded chicken that Morry made.

Evan is in bed and Noah is getting ready for bed now.

Limping Lizzy

Lizzy has been limping the last few days so she stayed home this morning.  She seemed sad when we left to walk without her.

Later in the morning Deborah came over to take a look at Lizzy.  She did some massage and therapy on Lizzy.  Deborah thinks it may be a pulled/strained muscle or possibly rubbing from one of her  fatty lumps.  She suggested Lizzy take it easy for a few days and we continue with the massager and add some vitamins to her diet.   We will see how she is after the weekend and determine if we need to bring her into the vet.

We walked to get the boys from school.

Shortly after getting home I left for tutoring.

Then, Morry and the boys left for Evan's baseball practice.  Noah and Morry went to a coffee shop while Evan had baseball.

When I got home I started making dinner.  I made a Pad Thai like vermicelli dish.

Morry and the boys got home around 7:15 and then we ate.

Soon the boys will start getting ready for bed.

Independent Boys

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

We were back at Camp Gladiator this morning.  It was a tough workout.  It was a lot of running, a lot of reps and it was warm - in the 70s at 8 in the morning.

I had a call in the morning but otherwise stayed home all day to work.

Rachel left to tutor before picking up the boys from school.  I went alone to get them.

When I got to the school, Evan told me some of his friends were staying after school in the schoolyard and wanted to stay.  I agreed and told him I'd pick him up in time to go to baseball.  I left his iPad with him.

Then, Noah and I began walking home.  On the walk, I got a text from Jude's mom wanting to know if Noah could come over.  Not wanting to leave the house twice - once to drop Noah off and once to get Evan - I let Noah walk from where we were to Jude's house on his own.

Evan texted me after about 30 minutes that he was walking home with one of his friends.  He and the friend stayed here until we needed to leave for baseball.  Then I dropped the boy off back at school.  His mom is a teacher there and so he was going to get a ride home with her.

Evan's baseball went well.  I thought he played well.  He was mad about a base running mistake he made at the end, but in general, he did well.

Until next time...

The Next Day

Morry was up late working.  We were both tired from the weekend activities.  After walking the kids to school, we decided not to go to Camp Gladiator today.

Morry had a full day of meetings.

I had a meeting at 11:30 with the woman who created The Original Worm - foam roller.  She want me to promote it on social media.

Morry stopped at HEB on his way home from a meeting.

We walked to pick up the boys from school and then I left for tutoring.

Evan did not have baseball today since his coach was sick.

For dinner we had dirty rice.

The boys are playing and soon they will get ready for bed.

Date Night and Super Bowl

Yesterday Morry had a meeting in the morning and Noah spent most of the day with Jude.

Evan and I went to the Farmer's Market.  We bought a cinnamon roll (which he ate most of) and a sourdough baguette.

From there I drove Evan to his baseball team's kickball game in Lakeway.

When I got home Morry was home.

Morry then went to pick up Evan.

We dropped the boys off at Grandma and Papa's house around 5:30pm. The boys would be spending the night there.

Morry and I put on our thrift store clothes and went downtown.

First, we ate dinner at Phoenician Resto.  Then, we walked around Rainey Street some.  Finally, we got dessert at tiny pies.

Today, Morry and I took a walk and then picked up the boys from Grandma and Papa's house.  They had a good time.

We were home for just a little bit and then Morry took the boys to Noah's football game.

I was making cookies for the Super Bowl party so I came to the game a little bit later.

Noah had fun at football, but his team lost.

We came home and then a little before 5pm went over to a Super Bowl party one of our friends was having.

There were a ton of boys there.  Morry and the kids seemed to have a good time.

We came home after the 3rd quarter of the game and they finished watching at home.

Now the boys are asleep and Morry is doing some work.

Here are some pictures.

Too bad these were not in our sizes at the thrift store.

Thrift Store

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

It was a pretty easy morning this morning.  There were no meetings, no phone calls.  We just walked the boys to school and came home.  I did work, but I just focused on the work which was nice.

We left for an early lunch at Wholy Bagel.

After lunch we went to a thrift store.  We each picked out clothes for the other to wear.  We're going to go to dinner tomorrow night in the clothes that we each picked out.  We're going to look pretty silly I think.  We managed to do it for less than $15/person.

We walked to pick up the boys in the afternoon.

Evan had baseball practice tonight.  Braeden's dad offered to drive today, so I drove Evan to the meeting spot and they took him.

For dinner, Rachel, Noah and I went to Freebirds and got burritos.  Before we left to meet Braeden's dad, we picked up a burrito for Evan.

We stopped at Sam's Club before going home to get some things.

The boys are getting ready for bed now.

Until next time...

Haircuts

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

A cold front must have come in overnight.  This morning it was overcast and windy.  While it was in the low 50s, the wind made it feel much colder.  Running at Camp Gladiator was pretty cold.

Rachel and Grandma went to a bakery for coffee and some food when we got back.

I worked from home all day.  I didn't need to go anywhere.

We both walked to get the boys.  Both boys were in good moods when we got them.

Rachel left shortly after getting the kids to go to tutoring.  After tutoring, she had a Seton Hospital Breast Center event.  Rachel met some of the Pink Ribbon Cowgirls there.

The boys played basketball in the cul-de-sac.  Then we went out to a place called Chicken Express for dinner.  On the way home, we stopped and got hair cuts for the boys.  Evan liked his, but Noah felt they cut too much off of his hair.  He's not happy with me.

The boys are getting ready for bed.

Until next time...

On the Phone

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

I had a little time after walking the kids to school to get work done.  But I had a call at 9:30, one at 10 that last until after 11.  Aaron called after that.  I talked to another client in the afternoon.  Then I talked to Mandy about another project.  At 3pm I had a HomeAway call that last for an hour.  Those are just too many meetings.

Rachel stayed home all day.  Her day was much lighter than mine.

Rachel went to pick the boys up by herself since I was on the call.  When she got home, Jude came over to hang out with Noah for a bit.

Evan and I left for his facility practice while I was still on the call.  I wasn't saying much and just muted the phone and had it on speaker while we were driving.

Later in the afternoon, Noah joined Rachel on her tutoring appointment.  They are heading home now.

When they get home, we'll have a late dinner.

Until next time...
