Since Last Weekend

Last weekend Morry and I went to the Broken Spoke for the first time.  The band was good and we enjoyed the experience.

On both Wednesday and today, I worked as an extra in separate movies.

On Friday, Noah had a cross-country meet.  He did very well and ran 2 miles in 15.30.

Last night, we went to dinner with Aunt Susan, and then we went back to her house for a little bit.  We all had a nice time.

Tonight, Morry hosted the fantasy football draft at our house.  He made brisket.  Everyone left a little before 9pm.  Chewie seemed very happy to have so many people at our house.

Here are some pictures from the week.

Back to School

Yesterday the kids went back to school.  Evan is now in 11th grade and Noah is in 9th.  They are both at the high school now.

They both said the day was pretty boring.

After school yesterday and today the bus was late picking them up.

Tonight Evan is at his first yoga class.  We will pick him up in a little bit.

Here are some pictures from yesterday.

Summer 2022

Tomorrow the kids go back to school.  We had a nice summer break.

Evan played lots of baseball.  We had fun at the out of town baseball tournaments.  We went to Corpus Christi, College Station, and the Dallas area.

Michael and the kids came to visit, but after 2 days of all hanging out together, Michael tested positive to for Covid, we didn't get to hang out together as much as we had hoped.

We went on a 2 week (and 1 day) long road trip in 12 states including Texas + D.C.
We stayed at least 1 night in 6 different states. We got a little taste of Hilton Head, Charleston, Richmond, D.C, Silver Spring, and Asheville.
Evan had the chance to play baseball in front of coaches from 26 different colleges.
We saw family, friends, the beach, mountains, big cities, small towns, and some random sketchy gas stations.
We went on a dolphin sighting kayak tour, did lots of golf activities including hotel mini golf, and ate the famous biscuits at Loveless Cafe outside of Nashville.
It was a really nice trip getting to see family and friends and making memories.

Evan went to Houston with his friend Josh and his family over the weekend. They went to two Astros games.

I was an extra in the TV Miniseries Sausalito: The Last Thing He Told Me last week and an extra in the Spy Kids Armegeddon movie yesterday and today. I really enjoyed my time on the Spy Kids set.

Here are some pictures from the summer.
