Noah's Last Day of Pre-School

This morning Evan and Morry rode bikes to school.  Morry said Evan was in a good mood this morning.

Today was Noah's last day of school. They had a water day today so he wore his swimsuit to school.  He was in a good mood this morning too.

Morry met Evan for lunch and then a little later we went to the lunch party at Noah's school.

Morry rode the bike to pick up Evan from school, but Noah chose to stay at home.

Tonight we went to a party at the Little Gym and then ate dinner at Noodle and Company.

Morry is going to read to the boys now and hopefully they'll go to sleep soon.

Cranky Morning

Noah was really difficult this morning and I'm not sure why. I'm guessing he didn't get enough sleep.

He didn't want to go to sports class, but I made him go anyway.  Once he was there he was fine.

After the Little Gym we went to Target and then came home.

When it was time to get Evan from school Noah started giving me a hard time again.

This afternoon we hung out at home.  I didn't have tutoring today.

For dinner we had burgers and corn on the cob.

The boys are brushing their teeth now and will go to bed soon.

Noah's 2nd to last day of school

Noah wanted to get up early this morning so he could go with Morry to drop off Evan at school.

Noah was in a good mood when I dropped him off at school. It was show-and-tell day and he brought in his baseball trophy.  Noah just has one more day of school on Friday.

Morry and I both picked up Noah from school today since Morry worked from home in the afternoon.

Gabby came over later and babysat while I tutored.

I stopped by Whole Foods on my way home to get the last vitamins I needed that the doctor recommended.

For dinner we had leftovers from the Salt Lick.

We just got the boys ready for bed.

Back To Normal

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

This morning Evan was in a great mood.  Both he and Noah were a bit cranky in the afternoon and evening.  I suspect they were still recovering from the big events over the weekend. But this morning, Evan was back to normal.

Noah slept in, which was good, he needed it.

Rachel had an appointment with a neurologist.  He believes that Rachel has neuropathy.  The good news is that something can be done and she just has to rebuild the nerve endings.  He prescribed lots of different vitamins/supplements that will help this happen.

From there Rachel went to tutor.

Blanca took care of Noah and then picked Evan up from school.

I stopped by HEB and picked up the vitamins/supplements for Rachel.

For dinner, we just had some leftovers.  I ate some of the Salt Lick from the party on Sunday night.  Rachel didn't eat as she's not feeling well.

We put the boys to bed though I hear them talking.

Until next time...

10 Year Anniversary and Part 1 - Family Reunion

Today is Morry and my 10th wedding anniversary.

We spent the day at home getting ready for the party tonight.

Michael, Jen, Maya, Evan, and Noah went out to lunch and for ice cream while Grandma and Papa went grocery shopping.

Tonight we had everyone over at our house for dinner.  It was nice seeing everyone.  Here are some pictures.

Drenched!

This morning Evan and Noah went to school without any problems.  Noah got to school about an hour late though since he slept late and had breakfast here with everyone.

Noah insisted Grandma come to pick him up from school.  When we got back home Grandma, Papa, Michael, Jen, and Maya went to lunch and the trainer came over to work with Morry and me.

It was raining when Morry and Noah went to get Evan from school, but while they were there picking him up it started really pouring down.  When they got home all 3 of them were drenched.  They had to changed clothes.

Evan went to a Lego birthday party at 3:30.

Uncle Marvin, Aunt Sandy, Aaron, Mandy, and Jeremy came over this afternoon and then we all went to Nutty Brown for dinner.

We stopped at HEB on the way home.

I made cookie dough tonight and will bake the cookies tomorrow.

Both boys are asleep now.

Evan's Musical and Full House

This morning Noah was cranky and gave me a hard time for some reason.  Once he was at his gym class he was ok.

After the Little Gym we picked up bagels and each got a lox sandwich.  Noah ate all of the capers and most of the lox.

We got Evan from school and shortly after Grandma and Papa arrived.

I left to tutor and then met everyone at Evan's school.  Evan had his 1st grade music tonight.  The theme was Texas and they sang and danced to all kinds of Texas songs.  It was cute.  Evan danced the Cotton-eyed Joe.

When we got home Michael, Jen, and Maya had just gotten there.  The boys were so excited to see Maya.

For dinner we picked up Torchy's.

Evan just read to Maya and Aunt Jen.

Now, the boys are in bed.

Noah's Graduation

Hello, this is Morry.

This morning, I felt a bit rushed.  We forgot to do Evan's reading last night, so Evan and I did it this morning while he was eating.  So we didn't really have time to relax.  Nevertheless, Evan was in a good mood.

Rachel took Noah to school.  Later she had a hair appointment.

Gabby picked Evan up from school as typical on Wednesdays.

At 6:15, we had to be at the elementary school by Noah's pre-school for his pre-school graduation.  It started at 6:30.  Noah kept telling me what elementary school we needed to drive to.  We left Noah with his teacher and then Evan and I got seats.  Evan saw a bunch of friends of his - kids who he went to pre-school (and plays football with at recess now) - whose younger siblings were graduating.  He ran off and played with those kids.  Rachel came to the school from tutoring.

The graduation was nice.  The kids marched in and then they performed a song.  They had a slideshow which was quite long, but it was fun seeing Noah up on the screen (There are six pre-school classes between the MWF and T/TH slots, plus the two classes in the elementary schools).  Noah told me he was on "TV".

Afterwards, we got some pictures of Noah and Cole together but Noah then refused all additional pictures.  We also got a picture of Evan and Victoria together.  Victoria's younger sister is in Noah's class.  For those of you who don't remember, Victoria was Evan's girlfriend in pre-school.  We had a picture of them graduating together with Evan's arm around her and she was holding flowers.  We got them to be together for a picture though Evan didn't have his arm around her though.

Rachel went back out to tutor and I came home, put the boys to bed and ate my dinner.  Rachel just got home.

Until next time...
