Evan's Day

Hello everyone, this is Evan (and Daddy).

I got up and I was very sleepy.  I had my breakfast but it was smaller than usual. (It was actually pretty big though.)

We walked to school with Lizzy.

I had a good day at school.  I learned some cursive handwriting.

We walked home with Keith.

I had a break for about two hours and then I had football practice.

At football practice, I played a lot of center and wide receiver.  I made some nice catches.

Now I'm about to go to bed.

The Day After

Hello everyone, this is Morry (with Evan)

Rachel's cousin Nikki and her husband Keith got in last night.  Nikki is going to school for physical therapy and she has a rotation here in Austin.  She will be living with us for a few months through the rest of her rotation.  Keith will be staying the week.

This morning, I got Evan up and he looked like he was exhausted.  We walked to school and he said his eyes were watering.  I was worried about him being too tired throughout the day.

I stayed at home working all day as did Rachel.

When we picked the boys up from school, Evan was very hyper.  He was full of energy.  When we got home, after he did his homework he came in and wanted to go outside and play baseball.  Eventually we did go outside to play baseball and Jack showed up to play too.  Then Sebastian and Santiago from next door came over and played.  Jack went home and all the boys played some baseball and then they rode their bikes and scooters around the cul-de-sac.

Rachel made Sprite chicken for dinner and we had dinner with Nikki and Keith.

The boys just showered and are about to go to bed.  Hopefully Evan gets some good sleep tonight.

Until next time...

Evan the Pitcher

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Evan had a baseball tournament today.  We didn't have to go early to the fields which was nice so we could sleep in.  His first game was at 12:30.  In the first game, Evan started at catcher and played most of the game.  He played extremely well at catcher.  He didn't have any passed balls and he almost threw a kid out stealing at second.  It was a great throw.  He also had two hits, an RBI and scored two runs.  The Bucs played really well and won the game 14-2.

I packed a lunch for Evan and we ate at the fields and got ready for the second game.

Late this week they changed the tournament from a 9 and under (9U) to a 9U and 10U tournament.  The Bucs got paired up in the second game with a 10U team.  They had two kids on their team that were taller than me.  That is no exaggeration.  One boy on the team - Ryan started the game and only gave up a run through the first three innings.  Evan started our scoring by walking on a 3-2 count after fouling several balls of and staying alive.  The pitcher was one of the boys taller than me.  Evan stole second, moved to third on a passed ball and then scored when they tried to throw him out at third and the ball went into left field.  After three innings, the Bucs were winning 4-1.  Evan pitched the fourth inning.  The first batter hit a really weak ball to shortstop that Darius did not charge and the runner was safe.  Then Evan got an out.  And then they got a couple of hits and scored some runs to tie the game at 4.  Evan didn't get upset and looked more determined than ever and ended up striking out the next two batters to get out of the inning.  In the bottom of the fourth, the Bucs scored three runs.  Evan came back out to pitch in the fifth.  If Evan could give up fewer than three runs, the Bucs were going to the championship game.  The first batter hit an easy pop up to second that our second baseman dropped.  So Evan struck out the next batter and got the following batter to pop up to him.  Then he got another pop up that the second baseman and right fielder both stopped and the ball dropped between them.  The next kid tripled and now the tying runner was on third.  Evan knew it.  He just focused on the batter.  He quickly threw two strikes and on the third pitch the batter hit an easy line drive to Darius to end the game.  All the kids mobbed Evan.  I honestly don't know if with that kind of pressure on me, I would have pitched as well as Evan did.  All the adults were cheering for Evan as well.  He had the biggest smile.

The championship game wasn't going to start until 8:30 because there was still another game to decide who we were going to face.  So we all went to Subway for dinner.  All the boys were excited to be with each other and they had a good time eating together.

We went back to the fields and the game actually didn't start until closer to 8:45pm on a school night.  Unfortunately, the game didn't go as well.  I think the kids were tired and the pitching really wasn't as good as it had been all day.  So the Bucs ended up in second place.  The boys still seemed very happy.

We finally left the fields at nearly 10:20pm and got home around 10:50pm.  Noah was already asleep. Evan soon joined him.

The Belkin Athletes

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

This morning, Evan had his first flag football game of the season.  His team is the Raiders.  I have to tell you, it is very hard for me to root for the Raiders.  I just yell "come on guys!"  Evan is in the third and fourth grade league and his team is all third graders.  The other team today was all fourth graders and they were pretty big.  It made a difference and the other team was able to win.  But Evan had a great play in the second half.  He was covering a boy who was much bigger and the quarterback threw to him.  Evan cut in front of the boy dove and knocked the ball away and then somehow taking the kid out.  The boys was laying on the field crying and Evan got up and went over to him and checked on him and then tried to pull him to his feet.

After the game, Evan and I went with the two other families to Maudie's for lunch.  These are families of boys that Evan has played many sports and teams with.  It was Evan and Darius and Carter and Carter's older brother Ben.  They were really excited to be with each other.  When we got to Maudie's all four boys went to the bathroom together.  But somehow, only Evan, Darius, Ben came out and as they walked back to us they had big grins on.  Apparently Ben was messing with Carter in the bathroom and they all thought it was funny.  Carter was all right and he was smiling when he came out.  After lunch, Darius' dad Daniel bought ice cream for the boys.

When Evan and I got home, we picked up Noah to go to Noah's baseball game.  I had promised Noah last night that we could go to Smoothie King on the way.

Noah had a very good game.  He struck out in his first at bat.  In his second at bat he hit a hard grounder to third and then took second on the overthrow.  In his third at bat, he didn't get much of a ball but he put it down the third base line in between the foul line, the pitcher, the catcher and third base.  No one went to get the ball so I sent Noah to second base.  What ever player picked it up threw so wildly to second that it went into the middle of the outfield and Noah came all the way around to score.  Everyone was cheering for Noah.  He played pitcher quite a bit because he makes great throws to first base.  He stopped a shot in the fourth inning and threw just a tad late to get the boy.  Noah's team lost in a walk off so Noah was upset but he did well and should be proud of himself.

We came home and had dinner.

The boys are in their rooms.

Until next time...

Noah is Mr. Baseball

This morning we walked with Lizzy to school.

I went to my regular doctor for a checkup so that I could get a refill on my thyroid medicine.

Morry and I ate lunch at Wholy Bagel.

We walked to get the boys at school. Evan's friend Wade came home with us after school.

Morry and Noah went to baseball practice this afternoon.  Morry said Noah did very well.  He listed well and did a great job throwing the ball.

Morry and Noah picked up Torchy's Tacos for us on the way home.

The boys are supposed to be getting ready for bed now.

Hustle Award

Hello everyone, this is Evan and Daddy.

This morning, I had a big breakfast.  Lizzy walked with us to school.

Today was picture day.

I did good at school.

We came home and then later we had baseball practice.  I had my Gerrit Cole jersey on and I pitched like Gerrit Cole.  I had fun with my friends there.  I raked the fields and helped out after practice.  I got the HUSTLE award at practice for the second straight practice!

We came home and now I'm getting ready for bed.

I've got a message for Zayde: Poop.

Buddy Party

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

It was much cooler this morning.  Rachel actually wore a sweatshirt on our walk to school (Though you could argue that doesn't say much since Rachel is cold when it's 80 degrees out).  It was actually kind of nice walking.  Lizzy enjoyed it.

In the afternoon, we drove to pick the boys up since he has golf shortly after school ends.

Rachel took Evan to golf.  Rachel said he was in a really good mood and excited to be with his friends.

When I picked him up, he was very hyper.  He insisted we have a putting contest (but I had to use his putter).  He declared himself the winner.

Rachel signed up for a healthy eating class at Whole Foods downtown.  Noah had said he wanted to go with her, but when he found out that I was going to order a pizza and Evan and I were going to watch a movie, Noah decided he wanted to stay home.

So we had a buddy party.  We watched the original Mission Impossible and ordered a pizza.  Evan ate quite a bit.

The boys are in bed now and Rachel is on her way home.

Until next time...

Football Practice

This morning we walked to school.  It was actually slightly cool out, for us.

We also walked to school to pick up the boys.

I tutored Audrey this afternoon.

The boys ate dinner.

Morry and Evan went to 6:00 football practice.  They are on their way home now.

While they were gone Noah and I read together.  He read his books for school and then we started reading one of the Henry Huggins books together that we got at Half Price Books.

When Evan and Morry get home we'll put the boys to bed.

A Case of the Mondays

Hello everyone, this is Monday.

We drove to school today to bring Stevie back to school.

I went out for a meeting for a bit.  Rachel stayed at home.

On the way back from the meeting I stopped at Target to get a few things and then on to Smoothie King.

This afternoon, we walked to pick the boys up from school.  Both boys were in a good moods.

Rachel tutored this afternoon.

For dinner, Rachel had tilapia and I grilled steaks for the boys and me.

The boys took showers and are now in their rooms.

Until next time...

Mike Lupica

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

We found out last night that Evan's football game today was cancelled.  We knew we'd get to sleep in.  This was the first weekend day in three weeks that we could sleep in some.  It was very nice.

We relaxed at home all morning.  In the early afternoon, we went to Max's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  The boy stuck together mostly while they played video games.  Max seemed to have a good time.

From there, we went to Half Price Books.  Evan's teacher had emailed us and said she knew Evan was into sports and sports books and that Mike Lupica was going to be there signing his books that he writes for young adults.  Mike Lupica is a famous sports columnist.  He's also got a radio show I believe.  Rachel's cousin Leah had given the boys two of Mike Lupica's books over the summer.  So we went and he spoke for about 20-30 minutes.  He was very funny and charming.  The boys really seemed to be enjoying the stories he was telling.  Then he started signing books.  Noah went first and Mike Lupica was amazed.  Normally his readers are older (technically Noah hasn't read the books).  He talked to Noah for awhile and told him that he was happy that Noah came to see him.  Then he looked at Rachel and commented on Noah's eyes.  He talked to Evan a bit but Evan was pretty shy.  It was a really good experience for the boys though.  I think they enjoyed it.  We stayed a bit longer and bought some other books for the boys.

We grabbed dinner at a Vietnamese place called PhoNatic.  The boys each had charcoal beef.  Noah ate his with rice and Evan had his with vermicelli.  It was good that they ate Vietnamese food.

From there we went to Rachel's friend Melissa's house.  She was having a little house party.  We stayed there for a bit.

Now the boys are in their rooms and getting ready for bed.

Until next time...

More Rain

We walked to school this morning but took the other path since there had been so much rain.

We got more rain later this morning.

Morry and I went to Wholy Bagel.

We drove to pick up the boys since it looked like it might rain.

Evan went to Wade's house after school and Morry picked him up around 5:30.

For dinner we had China Dynasty delivered.

The boys are having dessert now and then we'll get them ready for bed.

Stevie

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Last night we had a massive rain storm.  Around 2am, I woke up to heavy rain, thunder and lightning.  It was clear this morning, but from what I heard, it rained between 3.5 to 4 inches over night.

We walked to school.  The path was pretty torn apart. In one spot where the water must have come through the path was about a foot deep and maybe a foot wide.  It was easy enough to step over but I saw a kid hit it with his bike and tumble over.

We stayed at home today though I did run out to Smoothie King and the bank.

It's Evan's turn to bring the class pet home this weekend.  The pet is a guinea pig named Stevie.  We stayed after school with Evan and got Stevie's cage and things (food, treats, etc...) and brought them home.  Stevie is staying in Evan's room and Evan will have to keep the door closed to keep out the other animals.  Calvin does not seem to be a mouser but Flash does so we wouldn't want Flash to get to Stevie.  Lizzy wouldn't do anything other than bark.  But it's just safer to keep the door closed to the room.

For dinner, we had hamburgers and corn on the grill.  As I started to grill, the skies opened up and we're having rain like last night.  Our patio is covered but even so the rain was coming sideways so I got a bit wet as I came out to flip the corn and burgers.

The fields where Noah plays baseball flooded again.  They are closed at least through next week, so Noah won't have a game this weekend or have practice.

The boys are upstairs.  Noah has to do his reading and Evan is with Stevie.

Until next time...

Costco

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

We walked to school today as usual.  Lizzy seemed particularly excited to walk today.

I had a meeting in the morning at a coffee shop.

In the afternoon, we drove to pick up the boys because Evan had golf.  Shortly after we got home, Rachel left to take Evan to golf.  Evan seemed to have fun at golf.

We had a dinner from the crock pot and ate outside.

After dinner we drove to Costco.  Rachel got a Living Social deal for a membership.  So we became members.  We had briefly been members eight years ago but they didn't have the stuff we wanted to buy.  Today's trip was more successful.

The boys are about to go to bed.

Until next time...

Football Tuesday

This morning we walked with Lizzy to school.

We drove to pick up the boys since Morry had to be back in time for a meeting.

I tutored.

A little bit after I got home Morry and Evan left for football practice.  They are still there now, but should be coming home soon.

Evan and Noah have already eaten dinner.  Morry and I will eat when he gets home.

Back to School

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Evan was dead asleep when I came in to wake him up this morning.  I am not surprised after playing 6 baseball games in two days and 9 baseball games in the last 9 days.  We walked to school as normal, though Evan said he was too tired to hold Lizzy.

I had to run out at lunch to get a printer ink.  I stopped by Smoothie King.

We picked up the boys from school and ran out to mail estimated taxes.

Rachel went to tutor and the boys and I went to Gamestop.  Evan found fifteen dollars at the fields this weekend and wanted to buy a used Playstation 4 game.

We had pasta for dinner.

Now the boys are getting ready for bed.

Until next time...

Five Games of Baseball

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

The morning got started early for Evan's baseball tournament.  It was a double elimination game today.  We stopped by Donut Taco Palace on the way to the fields and then got to the fields at 8:15 for a 9am game.

The Bucs won the first game.  In Evan's first at-bat he got hit by a pitch for the first time.  It hit him right in the back of the elbow.  He walked it off, took first and then stole second and third before scoring on a single.  The Bucs started fairly slowly but ended up winning.

In the second game, the team was much better.  It was 1-1 after two innings.  The Bucs didn't score in the top of the third and then the their pitching fell apart in the bottom of the third.

So we went into the loser's bracket and played another game.  In this game, Evan was crushing the ball.  He changed bats and seemed to find his confidence again.  The whole team started hitting.

So then the Bucs were in the finals.  If they won the game they'd have to play again to beat that team a second time.  If they lost it was over.  Again, they played the team very well.  Evan worked a nice walk after fouling off several pitches in his second at-bat that was really nice.  Unfortunately, the left-handed pitcher was able to pick him off.  He played a very good catcher again.  But the Bucs couldn't overcome another bad inning of pitching.  But after four games, they ended up as runner ups and got rings for it.

Evan and I jumped in the car and drove over to the Oak Hill fields for Noah's game.  Noah struck out in his first at-bat.  But in the second he fielded a ball and tagged a boy running to second for an out.  In his second at-bat he singled to knock in the fifth run of the inning.  Overall he did well but his team came up just a bit short.

We came home and had leftovers for dinner.

The boys are showered and in their rooms.

Until next time...

Cold, Rain, and Baseball

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Evan had another baseball tournament this weekend.  The first two games were scheduled for 9am and 1pm.  We had to get to the fields at 8am.   It was 55 degrees when we left the house at 7 and drizzling.  We stopped at Donut Taco Palace on the way out.  As we got closer to the fields it was raining harder but then at the fields it was still just drizzling.

The fields are all artificial turf, including in the base paths, so that we could still play.  It was just a slick field.  But it was cold.   There was a steady drizzle the entire first game and it was windy.  It was cold just standing there.  Evan walked in his first at-bat.  He stole second. When he went to slide, the turf was so wet Evan looked like he was on a slip n' slide.  He almost slid right over the base and had to reach back and catch the base with his hand to stop himself from sliding over top.  The other team was not good and Evan's team easily won.

We sat in the car during our break between games.  At one point I went out to the concession stand and got food for us.

By the second game, the rain had mostly gone away.  It was still relatively cold - especially when you realize it was nearly 100 during last weeks tournament - at around 62 degrees.  This other team was much better and it was a good game.  Evan battled in the first at-bat fouling off 4 or 5 pitches before grounding sharply to shortstop and getting out.  He struck out for the first time this season in his second at-bat.  They brought him in to pitch the last inning  He was very accurate and immediately induced a pop up.  The next boy singled and stole second and third before scoring on an easy grounder to short for the second out of the inning.  Time expired at that point and Evan's team lost.

We came home and watched the special on Mean Joe Greene.

For dinner we went to Carino's.  Then we stopped at Petco to get a new litter box for the cats.

The boys are in their rooms.

Until next time...

Rain

We walked to school this morning and again to pick up the boys.

While the boys were at school Morry and I went to Wholy Bagel.

Noah was supposed to have baseball practice this evening, but it was canceled since rain was headed our way.

As I was leaving to tutor it started pouring down rain.

On my way home I pick up Izumi for dinner.

The boys are playing together in the game room - running around.  Soon, we'll get them ready for bed.

Baseball Practice

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Noah is doing a bit better today.  He still has a cold but it seems to be much better.  He's not coughing and he seems to be feeling better.  Rachel was doing slightly better today as well.

We walked to school and Lizzy came along with us.  Evan has been the one holding Lizzy.  He's getting much better about not letting Lizzy stop to smell things.

Rachel slept in the morning while I worked.  At lunch we ran out to HEB to get some things.

The boys were in good moods when we picked them up.

Evan had an early dinner because he had baseball practice.  He seemed tired before we left but the moment we got there he got into a great mood.  The boys on this team, having played together now from April on, really get along well with each other.  We focused on hitting today and Evan did very well with hitting.  He played a lot of catcher.  He missed some balls he should have had but in general, he did very well.

When we came home, Evan was very hyper.  I had started recording the Steelers game.  I let him stay downstairs for a while to watch with me.  Noah didn't want to come down.  After I put Evan to bed, the Steelers started to really stink.  I caught up to real time and then decided I didn't want to see the rest.

The boys are now asleep.

Until next time...

Golf today

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Lizzy has begun to get very excited for school in the mornings.  Evan holds her leash as we walk to school.  Lizzy trots very proudly.

Noah still doesn't sound so good but he looks better and his cough does not seem as bad.  Rachel has gotten worse and she cancelled her tutoring.

I ran out to the bank at lunch.

After school I picked up the boys.  Evan said that there was some "game" that first the teacher asked questions and only the girls could answer and then she switched and only the boys could answer.  Evan said he was the only boy answering.  I guess people took note of that.

After school, I took Evan to golf lessons.  Noah and I sat in the clubhouse.  Noah did his homework while I did some work.  Evan seemed to enjoy it.  The instructor let him borrow two clubs to bring home.

After that, we went to Academy to get some things.

We had a dinner Rachel made in the crock pot.

Now the boys are in their rooms.

Until next time...

Just a Typical Day

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

The kids were good when I woke them up.  Noah sounds like has a bad cough but said he felt fine and wanted to go to school.  Rachel isn't feeling great either.

Rachel rested most of the morning.

In the afternoon, we picked up the boys.  Evan was in a good mood and ran home along side Jack who was riding his bike.  Ms. Wenske said that she thought Noah looked sick and sent him to the nurse but he didn't have a fever and wanted to go back to the classroom.  She said he looked better in the afternoon.

Rachel tutored Audrey this afternoon.

We had leftovers for dinner.

The boys are now in their rooms.

Until next time...

Another Monday

This morning the boys were in good moods.  We walked with Lizzy to school.

Morry and I also walked to pick them up from school.

For dinner we had leftover Rudy's from the other night.

The boys played outside while we cleaned up from dinner.

The boys are finishing their desserts and then we'll get them ready for bed.

Second Day of Tournament, Noah's First Coach Pitch Game

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Evan's day was supposed to start with a 9am game.  We had some big rain storms come through yesterday so his game was delayed until 11am.  Since Taylor is more than an hour away, it was good to get the extra time.

Evan played well again.  He was catcher in the first inning and really kept the ball in front of him.  In batting, he was 1-2.  His hit came on a pitch that literally hit the dirt first and Evan hit it as it bounced back up.  It was a complete golf swing, but he hit it well into the hole between short and third knocking in a run.  He moved to second on a passed ball and scored on a single.  Unfortunately the team lost and were eliminated.  Aunt Susan came to watch Evan play which was very nice.

After the game, we went to see Evan's friend Ben play in a 10U tournament game at the same complex.  It was good to see Ben's family.

Evan and I drove home and were home for just a bit before we had to take Noah to his first kid pitch game.  Noah came up in the bottom of the first.  I really didn't know what to expect.  He swung at the first pitch and hit it between shortstop and third.  In the top of the second, he played second.  He fielded a ball hit to him and stepped on second for a force out.  He struck out his next time at bat and then lined out to shortstop in his third at bat.  But it was a very successful outing for his first time.

We came home and had dinner and now the boys are in their rooms.

Until next time..

First Tournament of the Season

Hello everyone, this is Evan and Daddy.

This morning, I played Minecraft with Noah (Poop).

Then we went to Smoothie King and got smoothies.  From there we drove to Taylor, TX for the tournament.  It was an hour away.  I told Daddy how to get to the fields and gave him a shortcut after we drove by them.

I didn't get to see Calvin and Flash for a while :(

In the first game, we lost.  We got crushed.  We only scored one run.  I went 1 for 2 in that game.  I pitched two innings and struck out one batter.  I caught two "come-backers" and threw to first for outs in each time.  I also caught a fly ball when I was playing right field.

After the first game, we took a break and I got water ice in a Tampa Bay Rays helmet. I would have gotten a Pirates helmet but they were out of them.

In the second game, I knocked in a run in my first at-bat.  Then I played catcher.  Everyone said I did well.  The umpire liked me.

Then we went to Rudy's.  I ate a ton of brisket.

Then we came home and I had a shower.

Now I'm going to bed because we have another game tomorrow and more if we win.

Mudcats Practice

Hello everyone, this is Evan and Daddy.

Today, when we woke up we went to school.  But before we went to school, we played Minecraft on the Playstation 4.  Lizzy walked with us to school.

I played football at recess.  I scored two touchdowns.

Jack walked home with us after school.

We played Minecraft and then went outside and played wiffleball.

Noah and Daddy went to Noah's Mudcats practice.  It started raining during the practice so they came home early.  It rained really hard for almost an hour.

They picked up food on the way home for dinner.

After dinner I had dessert and now we're writing the blog.  Then we'll go to bed.

Fast Week

We walked to and from school today.  The week seems to be going fast since the kids didn't have school on Monday.

Morry was going to take the kids to Academy today, but they saw the new Minecraft came out for Playstation and wanted to play that all afternoon.

I went to Noah's Back to School Night.  Morry stayed home with the boys.

When I got home we had dinner - steak for the boys, salmon for me.

The boys are all ready for bed now, but don't appear tired.

Golf and Baseball

This morning we walked the boys to school.

While they were at school I took Flash to the vet for his last booster shot and later went to HEB.

Shortly after getting home from school I took Evan to his golf lesson.  A mom set up a group lesson for some of Evan's buddies.  They go to the golf course near us for 8 weeks, once a week.

Morry and Noah picked up Evan from golf and then went to Evan's baseball practice.  It just so happened they are both on the same day.  We are hoping Evan will be ok with that.

On the way to baseball practice they got Chick Fil A.

I tutored tonight and got home a little before Morry, Evan, and Noah.

Once they got home we put the the boys to bed and then ate our dinner.

Back to School Night

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Very early this morning I took Grandmom to the airport.  When I got back home the boys were up and getting ready for school.  We walked to school as normal.

I had a meeting today and went to Smoothie King on the way home.

We picked up the boys from school and they were in very good moods.

We made pasta and served the boys before Blanca came over.  She was babysitting while we went to Back to School Night.

Both Rachel and I really liked Evan's teacher, Ms. Crenshaw.  We liked her personality and the way she structured the class.  Evan seems to really enjoy her as well.  She already seemed to know Evan and knew that Evan loves sports.

When we came home, we put the boys to bed and ate our dinner.

Until next time...

Dinner with Aunt Sandy and Uncle Marvin

This morning Evan and Morry left the house early.  Evan had a 9:30 am baseball practice.  After the practice the kids ran 1.5 miles to Barton Springs and went swimming.  Morry said Evan had a blast.  They got home around 2pm.

For dinner we went to Aunt Sandy and Uncle Marvin's house.  It was nice seeing them and Joel.  Aunt Sandy made a feast for us. Everything was really good.  The boys seemed to have a good time too.

The boys are all ready for bed and in their rooms now.
