Last night, Noah woke up a bunch. We're not sure why. He may have a little cold or allergies. His nose started running like Evan. So maybe he was having trouble breathing.
Meanwhile, Evan slept until 10:15 this morning. Rachel actually had to go in there to get him up. He may have slept too much because he was cranky all morning long.
Rachel brought the boys to meet Yenis and Kevin at the Circle C Park. They walked along the trail and put the boys down in the blue bonnets to take some pictures. Because of the drought, there are not as many blue bonnets this spring as in a normal spring. It's disappointing.
Evan insisted on bringing his blankets with him, not only on the way to the park, but also at the park. When he won't give up his blankets, you know he's not feeling right.
After walking around, they went to the playground and played there for a bit. Then they went home and had lunch.
Evan didn't take much of a nap but it was enough to make him feel better. Noah took a better nap. When I got home, Blanca said both boys were in good moods and they played outside.
Rachel had left an apple for Evan to eat. He ate a couple bites and left it on the coffee table. I was getting stuff together for dinner and I looked over and Noah had picked up the apple (just a regular apple, not cut up) and he was eating the apple. He ate a ton of it. He knew just what to do. It was really cute. I kept my eye on him because I was worrying about choking, but he didn't seem to have any problems.
For dinner, I made pasta. Evan and Noah both had some with me.
After dinner, we went to HEB so we could order Evan's birthday cake. Evan had some samples of grapes and cheese while we were there.
The boys are now in bed. Noah was crying for a bit, but he seems to have quieted down. Hopefully it's a better night for him.
