Jerry Seinfeld

Hello everyone, this is Morry. Rachel asked me to write the blog because I can get it done faster. It's late at night and we just got back from seeing Jerry Seinfeld in person.

After I went to work this morning, Noah made some noise so Rachel went in and gave him his pacifier. Both boys didn't get up then until close to 10am. It was good that they slept so well.

Once they got going, they went to Walmart to look at bikes for Evan. We think we're going to get Evan's bike from Academy for his birthday. The selection at Walmart wasn't so good. We'll pick up the bike while he's napping tomorrow and give it to him on his birthday on Sunday. I'm excited to give him his bike. He's going to love it.

We had two extra tickets to see Seinfeld. When the tickets went on sale, they had a 7pm show. The tickets that were left were not great but at least we were going to go. Then they opened up a second show at 9:30. We tried again and got very good seats to that one. So we sold the 7pm tickets. I met a guy at lunch time to sell him the tickets today.

When I got home Evan was out back with Grandma/Lynn and Papa/Lenny. They are in town for Evan's birthday party tomorrow. Evan was helping Papa scoop poop. Apparently Evan had not taken a nap today. Bubbe also came with Grandma and Papa. She hasn't seen the boys since Thanksgiving.

For dinner we went with everone to a Mediterranean restaurant called Phara's. Evan was kind of cranky. He said he wanted to eat but turned down everything we offered to him. Eventually he ate. Of course, Noah was in a very good mood. The restaurant had a belly dancer. Both boys (especially Noah) were mesmerized. The belly dancer came up to Noah and let him play with the tassles on her skirt. When she went away, Noah made the more sign. It was very cute. We ate outside and after dinner, we let Evan play around. That cheered him up.

Grandma, Papa, and Bubbe took the boys home while we went to see Seinfeld. They said that Evan was very talkative the whole way home. Evan normally is very talkative with us, but he's very shy around other people. I'm glad he was talkative for other people.

Seeing Jerry Seinfeld was amazing. I'm still amazed that in the past 6 weeks I've seen two of my favorite comedians - Bill Cosby and Jerry Seinfeld. Seinfeld did an entirely new routine which was very good. At the end he took questions from the audience and someone, of course, asked him to say "Hello, Newman".

It's very late and we have to get up early to get ready for Evan's party.

Until next time...
