Latin dance workout class

This morning I dropped Evan off at school. On the door to the classroom there are individual pictures of all the kids in the class. Every time we get to school Evan wants to find and show me his picture on the door.

Noah and I hung out at home for a little bit and then we went to the gym to meet Yenis. She’s a member of 24 Hour Fitness and invited me to come with her to the Latin dance workout class. They have childcare inside the gym. I filled out that paperwork for Noah and went to the class. Noah seemed fine when I dropped him off. The class was fun. It was a good workout, but not overly hard like some classes can be. It is an hour class, but after about 50min someone from the childcare came in looking for me. They said Noah had been crying for 5 minutes and they couldn’t get him to stop. So, I had to leave the class 10 min early. As soon as I held Noah he was ok. I left his pacifier and blanket with them, but they hadn’t tried giving those to him. I guess it will just take some time for him to get used to it. Maybe next time I will bring both Evan and Noah. With Evan being there Noah might feel better.

After the gym we went to Yenis’s house for a little bit. We ate some leftover soup from last night. It was very good. Then, we went to pick up the boys.

Evan was busy playing in the kitchen when I got there. He was having a good time.

We came home and I put both boys down for a nap. Blanca came at 2:30 and I went to a focus group at 3. I got a call to be part of a focus group. They pay $100 for 1.5 hours. The focus group ended up being for Southwest Airlines.

Morry and I tried out some new recipes for dinner. We made marmalade chicken and corn chowder. The marmalade chicken was really good. The chowder was ok. Here’s the recipe for the chicken if you are interested http://www.recipesia.com/recipe/show/18322-marmalade-chicken
