Hello October

Last night was rough. Noah wasn’t feeling well from his shots and was up from 1am-3am. I tried everything to get him to sleep. Even the Motrin didn’t help. Morry eventually had to walk him around until he finally fell asleep. Today Noah has been really cranky too. For his nap I had to rock him for a while to get him to sleep.

This morning we met Melissa and walked around the lake. I brought bread again for Evan to feed the birds and again, he ate a lot of it before we even got to the birds. There weren’t many birds around, but there were some fish and turtles that were happy to get the bread.

For lunch Evan had mac and cheese, dried peas/corn, and wheat thins. We also had some apples and honey. I forgot to do that yesterday. Evan wasn’t sure he wanted the apples with honey, but he finally tried it and of course, liked it. I also cut open a pomegranate. Evan loved that. It’s been a while since he has had pomegranate and he kept telling me he liked it.

Noah hardly napped.

I tutored tonight from 5:30-6:30 and then met Morry, Evan, Noah, and Dad/Lenny/Papa at Matt’s El Rancho for dinner. We didn’t have to wait and got a nice table on the patio. The food was really good. When they brought out the chips and salsa Evan asked for guacamole so we ordered one for Evan and Papa to share. Evan ate a ton and was double-dipping so Papa ended up getting his own. Noah slept pretty much the whole dinner.

When RachelB and Morry were given an opportunity to feed bread to animals we used only end pieces-so called "deer bread". Neither of them ate any of it. Evan is one hungry kid. I hope people watching don't think you have him on a bread and water diet.
