Rainy Day at Home

This morning it was raining so we just stayed at home. The boys and I made rice crispy treats. We ate lunch on the upstairs porch.

I tried this recipe I found in the HEB magazine. You cut out a shape out of a slice of bread and then cook an egg in the middle of it. Neither Evan nor Noah would touch theirs – even though it was in the shape of stars. Noah ate the star cut outs, but Evan wouldn’t even eat the plain bread stars. They did finish the big plate of fruit I cut up.

For dinner we went to Red Robin. Evan was really cranky at first, but once he ate, he was good. Evan ate all of his pizza and most of his orange slices. We got a pizza for Noah too, but he didn’t eat much.

When we got home we gave the boys baths.

Morry is leaving to pick up Marilyn from the airport. She wasn’t planning on coming in this weekend, but she was able to get a good flight deal. She’ll be here until Tuesday.

Evan and Noah are in their rooms, but they are both still awake and making noise.
