More Football

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

At around 7:30 this morning, I heard the Star Wars CD turn on. I knew Evan was up. But then I fell back asleep and woke up around 9. Evan still hadn't come into our room. I assumed he must have fallen back asleep. He actually just got up, got himself dressed, got himself breakfast, and turned on the TV in the gameroom and was quietly watching television.

Noah got up much closer to 10am.

We decided to walk to the elementary school and let the kids play there. Evan initially said he didn't want to go, but once we got there, he really enjoyed himself. The boys spent most of the time on the swings.

We came home and Rachel and I ate lunch. The boys didn't want anything. Then I put on the Steelers game. Evan was misbehaving at the beginning of the game but calmed down.

The Steelers were winning 19-3 with 3 minutes to go. With about a minute to go the Titans scored and got the 2-point conversion to be down 19-11. As they were attempting an onsides kick, Evan decided that was the best time to want to have a pillow fight with me. Then when the Titans recovered the onsides kick and were attempting to tie up the game, Evan decided he wanted to get into my lap and every time I went to look around him, he moved his face in front of my face so I couldn't see the tv. I just want to know, which one of you who read the blog paid him off to do that to me?

After the game, we heard the ice cream truck. Evan and I went out and he got a Batman popsicle. We got one for Noah too. Then, Evan and I played Star Wars for a bit. That made him want to watch Return of the Jedi.

When Noah got up, we went to HEB and did our shopping for the week. We stopped at Little Caesar's on the way home and got a pizza for dinner.

The boys are in bed now but are still awake.

Until next time...
