Waste of Time

So, DirecTV was supposed to come between 8am -12pm today to upgrade our dish and put in a SWIM line so we can watch 1 show and tape another. I rearranged things to make sure we would home today. I moved tutoring to another day and we weren’t able to go to the gym. DirecTV was supposed to call about 30 minutes before getting here. A little before 12 I still hadn’t heard from them so I game them a call. After waiting on hold forever I talked to someone who said our order had been cancelled during the phone call I was on to set it up. I asked how that could have happened and they didn’t know. I was furious. Then I was on the phone for almost an hour dealing with everything again and trying to get credit or something. The most they could do was knock off another $5 and they are supposed come out Wed. between 8 and 12 now. They say they will call the day before to confirm. We’ll see. What a big waste of time today.

My plans were to get stuff done around the house, but the only thing I got done was washing the clothes. We have large piles of clothes that need to be folded now.

For dinner we decided to go out to eat. I think Morry realized we all needed to get out of the house. We ate at Waterloo, which was just ok. But afterward the boys enjoyed playing on the playground for a while.

We just put Evan and Noah to bed. Noah is still talking in his room.
