Swimming

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

The boys slept fairly well last night. Noah got up once coughing. Rachel, however, had a fever. It broke at some point in the night but came back about mid-day.

Evan came in our room sometime around 8:30 and Noah got up shortly after that. They played around the upstairs and in the gameroom for a while.

I got up a little while later with them and brought them downstairs for breakfast. We watched some tv and then I got them ready for swim class. Rachel had to come with us because I needed someone to watch Evan while I was in the pool with Noah.

In Noah's class, he cried or whined for the entire time. However, he did everything that the teacher wanted. They taught them to float on their back and look up at the ceiling. And later, they taught them to get out of the pool which I liked. Noah was the only child of three in his class to do all of the exercises.

Evan, again, seemed to enjoy his class. It's just him. At one point, the instructor was in the deep end with him, and they dipped down low enough for Evan to touch the bottom with his feet. I don't think he wanted to let go of the instructor, but he really enjoyed the whole class.

After swimming, we picked up smoothies. We came home and played outside for a bit. I pitched a wiffleball to Evan while Noah played golf. Then we went inside and had some lunch. Rachel went and laid down upstairs.

After Noah's nap, I made pasta for us for dinner. Rachel, who had taken some ibuprofen, came down. Her fever had broken again.

We went to HEB, because we really needed to and we weren't sure when we'd get an opportunity again, after dinner. The boys were really well behaved. We got a bunch of stuff because it had been a while.

When we got home, I gave the boys a shower. They are now in bed.

Until next time...
