Evan the Bad

This morning Evan must have heard the garage door when Morry was leaving. He was crying for Daddy for a while. I brought Evan downstairs and got him some breakfast. Gabby came at 7:30am and I was able to lie down a little bit. I didn’t sleep well last night

Later in the morning I went to Newflower to get some groceries for us and some stuff for Bernardo and Gabriela who just had a baby.

When I got home Gabby left and I gave Evan and Noah lunch. Neither one ate very much. Evan has gotten into a bad habit of wanting candy after every meal. He threw a fit when I said no today. Evan started throwing his toy trains at the wall. I told him if he threw any more we’d stop playing and go upstairs for naps. He started to dump his whole box of trains. I asked him not to do that but he did it anyway. Then he grabbed one of his stuffed animals (lion) and started whacking it against the wall too. I took the lion and put it on top of the refrigerator and brought him upstairs. He was screaming and crying. I put him in bed, but he wouldn’t stay there. I closed his gate and the gate at the top of the stairs. He can easily open his gate and the gate at the top of the stairs has a really stupid design. It has Velcro on it and Evan knows how to unvelcro it and get through the gate. Evan kept coming downstairs and I had to carry him back up at least 5 times. I was so mad at the makers of the gate I gave them a call to complain about who ever designed the gate. Evan was crying for his lion the whole time I was on the phone. Anyway, they are sending us a replacement gate that apparently doesn’t have that flaw.

Somehow both boys actually ended up taking good naps.

For dinner Ursula, from Morry’s work, bought us food from BJs.

After dinner I went over to Gabriela and Bernardo’s house for a few minutes to see the baby and bring them the food I bought at Newflower.

Evan and Noah are in bed now. Noah is quiet, but I hear a lot of thumping and movement coming from Evan’s room.
