Big Naps

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Last night, Evan fought going to bed as usual. He was up until almost midnight. Basically he fell asleep at the same time that we fell asleep. Then he got up around 7:30 or 7:45.

Noah woke up closer to 9. Rachel got up with the boys and let me sleep some. I came down around 10. Noah immediately told me he wanted to watch Cars. So I put the movie on for them. Rachel made juice with the juicer and smoothies for the boys.

After that we went out to Old Navy. Rachel had some coupons. The boys wanted to play with the balls they were selling there. Noah kept throwing the ball up and behind his head and he'd make sound effects at the same time. They had the Disney movie Pocahontas playing there and Evan and Noah both eventually watched that for a bit.

We got more protein at the Smoothie Factory and went home and had lunch. Evan ate pretty well but Noah didn't.

At this point it was a little after 1:30 and we put them down for naps. I had to wake the boys up after 5:30. Evan was really deep asleep. He was definitely tired from not having enough sleep the night before.

For dinner we went over to a the house of a woman (Ursula) that I work with. She and her husband and her twenty-one-year old daughter wanted to make dinner for us and they wanted to see the boys. The boys were incredibly well behaved. They didn't eat much dinner, but they didn't get into much trouble. We all had a very good time there. Evan and Noah, after dinner, ran from the family room in the back of the house, into the foyer in the front, then into the dining room in the front to the kitchen in the back and then back into the family room. Evan would say "OK Noah, ready, set, go!" and they'd take off running the big circle. Noah was very affectionate with Ursula's daughter Ophelia. He went up and gave her a hug at one point. Ursula carried Noah around some too. Somehow, Noah gets woman to carry him all the time. He's a little ladies man.

We came home and put the boys in bed. Evan is in bed but not sleeping.

Until next time...
