No Shmoah

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Last night was a fairly uneventful night in that Noah stayed asleep the whole night. The steroids that Rachel was taking for her hands kept her up the whole night unfortunately. Her last pill was yesterday so hopefully she'll be able to sleep tonight some.

Matt and Rachael came over today to take care of the boys. From all accounts it sounds like the day was fairly uneventful. I think the boys do well with Matt and Rachael.

After last night's posting about Noah and his evil twin Shmoah, a mom from the Mom's Club emailed Rachel. She suggested that Noah may have an ear infection. She indicated that her daughter acts that exact way when she has an ear infection. Rachel made a 5:30 appointment at the after-hours clinic that our pediatrician offers. I got home from work and took him over there.

At the office, Noah was anything but Shmoah. He was happy and his normal charming self. In fact, he charmed the doctor so much I thought the doctor would want to bring him home. But, the mom was right, Noah had an infection. She indicated it was pretty bad. Noah never got a fever during all of this though. So we put him on antibiotics.

That same mother who told us about Noah, also brought dinner today. She wins the prize as the most helpful to us today. We had dinner when I came home. Then I left to pick up Noah's antibiotics.

When I got home, we gave the boys baths. They are now in bed, well at least Evan is theoretically in bed.

Until next time...
