No Rachel

Hello Everyone, this Morry.

This morning, Evan woke me up at 7:15. I took him downstairs and got him some breakfast and put on a movie for him. He came back in at 8:30 and wanted to get dressed. Shortly after that Evan got up.

We all played in the gameroom. Soon, Grandmom/Marilyn got up and joined us. When Rachel got up we went downstairs.

We headed out to lunch at Kneaded Pleasures. It's a bagel/sandwich shop. Neither boy ate much there. We noticed, as we were entering the shopping center, that the Blockbuster was having a sale on previously-viewed DVDs. They had some listed as 5 for 20, some as 3 for 20. So we got Evan a bunch of DVDs. We also got two Wii games which were buy one, get one free.

When we got back, we put the boys down for a nap. Rachel's Aunt Susan came and picked her up to go to San Antonio. Rachel's cousin is getting married tomorrow and the rehearsal dinner is tonight. This is the first time that Rachel has been away without the boys and without me.

Noah got up from his nap first. At 5:30, I had decided that Evan had slept long enough. So Noah and I went to get him up. Noah walked right in and went over to Evan who was sleeping and yelled "Eh-yan". Then he climbed into Evan's bed and laid down on top of him and the climbed over him. It was really funny. Evan thought it was funny even though it was probably a tough way to wake up.

From there, we went to Target and got some stuff for the boys and presents for Ben and Molly. After Target, we met Matt, Ben and Molly at the Austin Pizza Garden. They had a guy playing guitar live there. He was pretty good.

When we got home, I gave the boys baths. I thought we'd try something new. I asked Evan if he wanted to sleep in the bed in Noah's room. He was very excited to do that. I thought that might make it easier for Evan to go to sleep since he's been getting out of bed because he wants to be with me. Well it has worked on one count. Evan hasn't gotten out of bed. But it is 10:19pm currently and the boys are still up. It seems to be getting quieter but they have been laughing and squealing and having a good time together. I have gone up there twice to remind them to go to sleep.

Until next time...
