A New Beginning

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

For those of you who don't know, I decided to quit my job with TicketCity. It just wasn't what I had expected it to be and StoredIQ, my old job, came calling. Everything seemed to just work out. TicketCity asked that I reconsider both Monday and Tuesday and sent me home early to think things over. Today I went in early and cleaned out my cube. When everyone got in, I let them know. This time I was sent home for good.

Since I left for work earlier, I didn't see Evan this morning. Rachel said he slept in until about 8am. At that point, I think he woke Noah up because they were playing together and he didn't come out of the room. It makes it easier on us, but hopefully Noah is getting enough sleep.

When I got home, we went to HEB. Tomorrow is Pizza Day at Evan's school. The parents rotate bringing a snack on those days. Tomorrow is our day to bring a snack in so we needed to pick some things up. Also, Rachel is hosting play group on Friday and wanted to get some food for that. Noah stayed with Rachel in the cart and I split off with Evan to pick up some of the other stuff. Both boys got Buddy Bucks and balloons when we were leaving.

Rachel made peanut butter and jelly for the boys. Evan ate well, Noah just smeared the sandwich around.

After lunch, Blanca came because Rachel had some errands plus tutoring to do. We didn't know if I'd be home this afternoon, so we didn't cancel Blanca. I used that time to run my own errands. I had to run over to the AT&T store to switch my cell phone into my name. I then went by the StoredIQ offices to sign my offer letter. It was fun catching up with everyone and everyone seemed genuinely excited to have me come back. My first day will be next Wednesday.

I came home and was there when the boys got up from their naps. We got a new GeoTrax DVD and Evan wanted to watch that. He wanted to watch it over and over.

I made steak and chicken kebabs (they were pre-marinated) and rice for dinner.

After dinner we gave the boys baths. They are now in bed, but making lots of noise.

I'm looking forward to a few days off to do nothing.

Until next time...
