Drenched

Last night Noah was up several times throughout the night. I was exhausted this morning. Luckily, Morry was home and got Evan set up with a movie and breakfast so that I could sleep a little bit.

When I got up I called Noah’s doctor and made an appointment to get him checked out. He has had a cold for about a week now and since he was up so many times last night, I wanted to get him in to see a doctor.

I dropped Evan off at school. Noah and I came back home for a little bit and then we went to his doctor appointment. The doctor believes he just has a cold. She suggested we get some kids Mucinex for him. She said if he’s not getting better by Monday or Tuesday he may have a sinus infection. It’s just too early to tell yet. His ears and chest seemed ok.

We came back home and ate lunch. Then, we went to pick up Evan. On the way to school it was threatening to rain. As we walked into the building it was raining a little bit. But then, when it was time to leave it was pouring. The boys and I go drenched! They both thought it was really funny. When we got home I let them watch the rain and then got them some dry clothes.

Evan and Noah both took good naps.

For dinner, Evan, Noah, and I picked up food at Subway. Morry was out for a going away party for someone at his old work. At Subway, Evan and Noah picked out their own bags of chips. Evan chose Doritos and Noah picked the Cheetos. I filled up my cup with orange Fanta and was reaching to the other side to get a lid when Noah grabbed a hold of the open, filled cup. He was standing and the drink was slightly above him. It was all over his head and body. He was screaming. His whole body was orange. I had to take off his shirt before we got in the car. I apologized to the people working there. The guy seemed to understand. He said he also had a small child. He gave Noah a little toy from a kids meal to play with.

We ate our dinner at home and as I was finishing Evan told me there was pee pee on the tile. He had peed through his clothes and all over the bathroom tile somehow. I started the shower and threw both boys in. That was about the time Morry got home.

Evan and Noah are in their pajamas now. Evan’s watching the Steelers game with Morry. Noah’s playing/ getting into trouble.
