The Return of Shmevan

I thought this morning was going pretty well. I avoided conflict with Evan and we were about to head out the door to go to school.  Evan started complaining that his stomach hurt and didn’t want to go to school.  I was pretty sure his stomach didn’t hurt.  He started throwing a massive fit.  I set the timer for 2 minutes and said we’d leave at that time.  I had a very hard time getting him in the car and buckled in his seat.  He was screaming and crying.  He kicked off his shoes and was still crying at school.  I couldn’t get his shoes back on so I had to carry him into school.  He wasn’t calming down. He was holding on to me and wanted me to carry him in his classroom.  I sat with him for a while during circle time and then went out with all the kids for the Easter egg hunt.  As soon as we got outside he was fine.  He was running around with his buddies having a great time.
I was really worn out from the whole morning.
Grandmom/Marilyn took care of Noah while I was gone.
A little while after coming home we left to meet Morry for lunch.  We ate at Which Wich.   We stopped at the bank on the way home.  I dropped Noah and Grandmom off at home and the picked up Evan from school.
When Evan got home he shared his Easter eggs with Noah. Each one opened one egg and ate the candy inside.
I scheduled my implant surgery.  It’s going to be on April 23 in Dallas. I’m not looking forward to another surgery, but am glad to get it over with.
At nap time Noah slept and Evan played in the game room with the new birthday toys they got from Allen and Thomas today.
For dinner we went out to eat at Kerbey lane.  Evan and Noah got cherry pancakes.  Evan ate a lot of his, but I don’t think Noah even had a bite of his.
We just put the boys to bed.
