A Normal Saturday

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Today was our most "normal" Saturday that we've had since Rachel's diagnosis. We didn't have anyone staying with us and we took a nice walk and got smoothies. It felt good to have some semblance of normalcy.

The day started out with Evan coming in our room. I got him breakfast and set him up with a movie. He was very well behaved and when his movie ended he just stayed in the gameroom playing with his GeoTrax. He didn't come and wake me up.

When we all got up, we decided to take a walk around the shopping center near us. There's a nice walking trail. Rachel felt up to walking. I held Lizzy and pushed the stroller while Rachel walked along with us. She did very well. Afterwards, we stopped at the smoothie place and all of us got smoothies. Both boys really like smoothies.

We came home, had lunch and put the boys down for naps.

For dinner, Matt and Rachael came over. Matt and I went out and picked up food from Blue Bamboo. Noah loved having Matt and Rachael over because he got a lot of attention. Evan and Matt played together as well.

We put the boys to bed and watched the movie Year One. I enjoyed it, it was really funny. Evan gave me a hard time going to bed unfortunately, but he's sleeping now.

Until next time...
