Bill Cosby

Hello everyone, this is Morry. Rachel asked me to write the blog. It's really late right now. We just got back from seeing Bill Cosby live. But I'll get to that in a minute.

Last night, Evan had a fever when we put him to bed. We decided not to close to gate to his room. That way we could check on him without having to open the gate and possibly wake him up. So this morning, at about 7:15 or 7:30, I heard Evan breathing, but it didn't sound like it was thru the monitor. I guess Evan opened his door, saw that his gate was open, walked into our room, saw we were still sleeping and laid down on the floor next to our bed. Rachel got up with Evan and took him downstairs and let me sleep.

I got up around 10am and both boys were up and playing. Evan still had a fever but he was acting normal. When I got downstairs, Rachel was squeezing oranges for orange juice and had made blueberry muffins. I think I need to sleep in every weekend if I wake up to that. Evan helped Rachel make the muffins. Unfortunately, I think he was still not feeling well and didn't really eat them. Noah did, however and yelled at Rachel when she didn't provide strawberries and blueberry muffin promptly enough.

After muffins, Rachel tutored while I took care of the boys. We watched Garfield and then went upstairs to play in the game room.

When Rachel got home, we put the boys to bed. She showered and got ready for our night and then took a nap. I watched the 2008 Steelers DVD that went thru each game and showed in detail the playoffs and the Super Bowl. It was amazing. I was pumped after watching it.

Aunt Susan came over tonight to take care of the boys while we went to dinner and to see Bill Cosby live. Rachel had gotten me tickets to see him for Valentine's Day. They were front row tickets. For dinner we went to a Middle Eastern restaurant called Phara's. It was pretty good.

We then went to see Bill Cosby who was playing at the Bass Concert Hall on the UT campus. He was really funny. It just felt like we were listening to a guy tell us his stories. I spent the entire time just being amazed that I was sitting 20 feet or less from Bill Cosby. I have watched Bill Cosby Himself countless times. In fact, I can recite most of it. I grew up watching the Cosby Show. And tonight, he was just sitting there, right in front of me. The whole experience was really neat. Rachel seemed to enjoy herself as well.

Aunt Susan said the boys did really well. She said she thinks Noah is getting sick now. I'm not surprised.

Until next time...
