Slow Day

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

It was another day without Rachel. Gabby came to the house at 7:30 to take care of the kids. Both boys heard her and came out to see her.

At 9am, I took Evan to school. Not everyone is signed up for school in August, so they have combined classrooms. Also, they are doing work on some of the classrooms so they are shifting back and forth between different rooms on different days. It seemed chaotic but Evan was happy to be there. I also picked Evan up from school and worked the rest of the day from home.

Blanca came in the afternoon. When I got home from Evan, Noah was pretty hyper so I wasn't sure that he'd go down for a nap, but Blanca was able to do it.

After I was done working the boys played Wii along with Blanca.

For dinner, we had pasta. Both boys ate super well. They had pasta, peppers, pistachio nuts and clementines.

Shortly before we went upstairs to take showers, Blanca's mom, Rita, came over. She was selling discount cards for the local high school football team. Her son is a senior on the team. I talked to her for a bit and the boys love her so they were playing with her.

When she left, I brought the boys upstairs and gave them a shower. Noah had a fit when he had to get out so I just dried him and put him to bed. He hasn't opened the door yet. I guess he must have been tired.
