A Saturday About Nothing

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Today was the first Saturday since July 24 that we were home with no big plans. It was nice. The boys actually slept in. Evan got up around 9 and Noah got up about 9:30. Rachel and I, while up, didn't really get up until after 10 which was really nice.

We got up and had breakfast and then went over to the shopping center where they have a walking trail. We brought Lizzy. Lizzy was very excited. We walked around and then got smoothies at the Smoothie King.

We came home and had lunch. The boys were really playing together and not eating much.

After a while, we finally put Noah down for a nap, although he didn't really nap. He stayed in his room playing the Leapster.

Noah came downstairs and Evan and Noah played Star Wars together. Evan said he was Luke Skywalker and he told Noah to be Anakin Skywalker. They were searching for Darth Vader. I didn't have the heart to explain to them that if Noah was Anakin, he was also Darth Vader.

For dinner we went over to the Hill Country Galleria. It's an outdoor mall. We ate at a restaurant called Tony C's. We got a coupon on Restaurant.com. The food was just ok and it was still expensive, even with $25 off. The boys did eat their pizza and were well-behaved.

There was an outdoor concert going on and we walked over to that. Evan and Noah were running around on the hillside. It was just a lot of fun watching them run around and having so much fun. They play together so well.

From there, we walked to Yogurt Planet and we all had some ate some frozen yogurt. The boys ate well there too.

They are now in bed although they are each playing with their Leapsters.

Until next time...
