Chores

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Last night Noah got up once because he wanted his pacifier. Also Evan was crying around 5am. I'm not sure why. He may have had a bad dream or something. But he wouldn't tell me and he went back to sleep.

Zayde got Evan and Noah a blow-up Steeler punching bad/tackling dummy. I told Evan, last night, that I'd have it blown up for him when he woke up. I left it at the bottom of the stairs so he'd see it when he got up. Well he got up, and he came in our room but he left and I guess he want downstairs. All we heard was this banging sound. We called out to Evan to see what he was doing and he said he was punching his punching bag. He's been beating up on this thing all day long.

When we got up, we had breakfast and then we went to Sam's Club to get some things. We needed diapers and batteries as well as some other things. It was a fairly smooth, uneventful trip.

When we got home, we had lunch and watched the Olympics. Evan has enjoyed watching it.

After lunch, Rachel, Lizzy and the boys went for a run. She was able to run for 10 minutes while pushing the double stroller. That's pretty impressive.

Meanwhile, I started the task of replacing all of our smoke detectors. I was able to do it but the last one for some reason keeps beeping as if it doesn't have a battery. I put in another battery but the same thing happens. What's weird is if I unplug it from the electricity when it goes off of battery power, it's not beeping. The moment I plug it in again, it starts to beep.

The boys went down for a nap when Rachel got back. They slept pretty well.

Rachel and I exchanged Valentine's gifts. I got her a necklace from Swarovski that supports breast cancer. She got me some DVDs and candy.

For dinner Rachel made some kind of grain/rice thing that starts with a Q. I can't remember what it's called. We also had hamburgers. We watched more of the Olympics.

We gave the kids baths and they are in bed now.
