The Ice That Wasn't

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Last night, the weather forecasters were predicting doom.  They predicted ice 1/4 to 1/2 inches thick on the road ways and really cold temperatures over night.  Now it did rain and was really windy last night.  We even heard some thunder.  But when we woke up, there was no ice.  In fact, it was bright sun. Not a cloud in the sky.  The sun hasn't been out for two weeks but the day that school is cancelled it was really bright.

Rachel and I slept in a bit.  The boys were in great moods when I came downstairs to start working.  I put a movie on for them.

Later in the morning, Evan went outside and rode his bike around for a while and then went roller skating.

We all went to Wholy Bagel for lunch.  I have a meeting again tomorrow and so we planned on going today.  The boys were excited to come with us.

When we got home, Evan and Noah each ran on the treadmill.  I think Evan ran most of the time.  Rachel worked out of the dining room so she could watch them and make sure they were ok.  I heard Evan in an all-out sprint on there for a while.

Evan apparently didn't get enough running so he was pushing Rachel to go for a run.  She said they could walk Lizzy. When they were out walking Lizzy, they saw Jack, so Evan and Noah played at Jack's for a while.  They all came and played her for a while.  Then they went back out to play later in the afternoon.

Josh, from Evan's baseball team, came for tutoring in the afternoon.

We had orange chicken that we had gotten at Costco for dinner.

The boys are doing homework now and then are going to bed.

Until next time...
