Noah with a Walk Off

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Today, Evan and Noah had their first day of baseball camp.  It's with a baseball training program here in Austin.  Evan and the Marauders went there for a pitching lesson before their kid pitch tournament.  The camp goes from 9am to 4pm.  I was a bit worried because of the heat.  We made sure the boys had plenty to drink.  Rachel and I dropped them off and they seemed excited.

Neither Rachel nor I had anything planned today.  Rachel ran out to HEB to get a few quick things.  Other than that, we stayed in.

When we went to pick Evan and Noah up, they were playing a baseball game - 3 on 3.  They weren't using a baseball.  It sounded like a rubber ball of some sort.  We saw Noah bat and get a single.  The boy who followed Noah got a double and Noah stayed at third.  When Evan came up, the instructor, who was pitching to them, said that if Evan knocked in both runs, then the game would be tied.  Evan doubled knocking in both runs.  Then Noah came back up to bat.  The instructor said that if Noah knocked Evan in, they would win.  Noah fouled off the first pitch down the third base line.  The next pitch he hit fair down the third base line scoring Evan for the win.  It was really nice to see Noah get some attention for that.  He was very happy.

The boys seemed to really enjoy the camp.  They are looking forward to going tomorrow.

We came home and I started to grill some ribs which we ate for dinner.

The boys are now in their rooms.

Until next time...
