Busy Day Ending With Baseball

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

This morning was a tough morning.  Noah was overtired and gave us some issues.

It rained this morning so it was a bit miserable.  I had to run out for a bit and traffic was very tough.

Rachel got her hair cut today so I picked the boys up by myself.  The ice cream truck was there so the boys got popsicles on the way home.

They did their homework when they got home and then we left for Evan's game.  We had dinner at Wendy's on the way out.  Rachel had to tutor.

Unfortunately, Evan's team lost.  They played well to start the game but ended up struggling at the end.  Evan, who has been really hitting the ball well, didn't hit the ball well his first two times up.  He grounded out to second base to start the game.  He did play well in the field, fielding two balls at shortstop and stepping on second.  He also made a nice back handed catch on a short hop on a throw from right field.  He quickly turned around and tagged the boy trying to stretch a single into a double.  In his third time at bat he finally hit one hard.  It hung in the air just a bit long and it actually got caught in deep center.  Evan was very upset by that, but really there's not much you can do.  The boy (one of Evan's friends) made a very nice catch.  Evan has been upset about the game since we got home.

Noah is asleep but Evan is still up.

Until next time...
