Hello everyone, this is Morry.
This morning, Rachel took Evan and Noah to their first day of golf camp. They were in good moods before they left but they were acting a bit tired. Jack and Audrey were at this camp too. Rachel said Jack and Evan were excited to see each other. Jack and Evan were in the same group. Noah was in a group by himself, though I guess Audrey volunteered to be in Noah's group and got moved there. They had a set of clubs for each child.
I went out around mid-day and met Aaron for a meeting.
When I came home, we left to pick up the boys. We volunteered to pick up the kids in the afternoon and Jack and Audrey's dad will take the kids in the morning from now on. When we got their all four kids looked very very hot but they all said they had a good time. They played a bunch of golf. Jack described something which I didn't quite understand where Evan was running so fast down a hill that he lost control and ended up rolling down the hill. I'm not quite sure what happened but both boys thought it was funny. They went swimming at the YMCA next door after lunch. Evan and Jack went down the slide a bunch.
We dropped Jack and Audrey off at home and then went home. The boys played Wii.
We had tacos for dinner and then went for a walk. Evan is skating around the driveway in rollerblades while Noah is going around on his scooter. Rachel is giving Lizzy a bath.
Until next time...

Chores
Hello everyone this is Morry.
When I woke up the boys and Rachel were already up which is unusual. The boys were downstairs with the Wii.
I did a bit of work while the boys played and Rachel got brunch ready.
Rachel found an app that could keep track of chores/tasks that the boys do. You can assigned monetary amounts for each thing. So we came up with a set of tasks that the boys can do - some weekly, some daily, etc... When they complete them they go to Rachel's iPad and check them off. If we approve then that amount of money is registered with them. If they misbehave we can go in and assess a penalty to them which would deduct some money from what they've earned. At our discretion, they can cash out what they have earned and we can mark that they've cashed out. The boys really liked this idea and have been super helpful today. We'll see how well that works long term.
In the afternoon, the boys and I went down to the cul-de-sac. Evan skated around using Rachel's rollerblades and shot a ball into a makeshift hockey goal.
Later in the afternoon, we watched Jurassic Park. The boys really enjoyed that.
Before dinner, we went to HEB and the boys picked out some things they'd like to bring to lunch. This week the boys have golf camp.
We had dinner and then went for a walk.
The boys are upstairs now.
Until next time...

Full Day
Hello everyone, this is Morry.
The day began very early this morning. Rachel had us set the alarm for 6 so we could set up for the garage sale. We started putting things out on the driveway and then Rachel woke the boys up at 6:30 to help us out.
The garage sale went well. I made popcorn and we sold sodas as well. All the money from the sale of the popcorn, the sodas and any toys that were sold went to the boys. They did very well and were happy.
After the garage sale, Rachel took the boys to a pool birthday party for Noah's friend.
They left that party early and came home and changed so we could go to Aaron's son's birthday party (Jeremy turned 2).
We came home and hung out a bit. I ordered China Dynasty for dinner.
The boys are upstairs now.

Playdate After Camp
Hello everyone, this is Morry.
Calvin was being quite loud this morning. He woke both Rachel and Noah up.
Today was the last day of baseball camp. On the way to camp, Noah told us that he wants to go there again next year. I think both boys really enjoyed camp.
Rachel and I went to Wholy Bagel today. We hadn't been there since before our trip. The people working there were glad to see us.
On the way home, we stopped at the bank to deposit checks and pick up some cash for the garage sale tomorrow.
I had someone come over for a meeting in the afternoon.
Rachel went and picked up the boys and met two other boys from the camp and their moms at TCBY. The boys are going to be fourth graders but they really enjoyed playing with Evan and Noah. I met Rachel over there. The women were very nice and it was nice to see the boys all running around. One of Evan's teammates from the Marauders was there with his brother who is Noah's age. Noah and the boy's brother would play together at the Marauders games. So they joined in too.
We ran over to Target to get some birthday presents for some parties we are going to. Then we stopped at Torchy's Tacos and picked up dinner.
The boys are showering now.

Another hot day at camp
This morning Morry and I took the boys to camp. They both seem to really it.
While the boys were at camp, I got stuff ready for a garage sale. A lot of our neighbors on our street are having a garage sale Saturday, so we are going to try to sell some things too.
I went to HEB and then picked the boys up from camp.
For dinner tonight we made pizza.
The boys are playing Legos together now. Soon, they'll get ready for bed.

Rain and Humidity
We actually got some much needed rain last night and this morning. It made the morning pretty humid though.
I dropped the boys off at camp.
I tutored at one house this afternoon.
Morry and I went together to pick up the boys. Evan made friends with another boy (age 9 or 10) and they exchanged phone numbers. We met the mom. It turns out the boy lives pretty close to us.
For dinner we had leftover ribs from the other night and baked potato/sweet potato.
Noah is on the Wii and Evan is on his computer. In a little bit we'll get them ready for bed.
