Back to Baseball

Hello everyone, this is Morry.

Earlier this week, I had emailed the people on Evan's team to see if anyone wanted to get together to play some baseball.  I set it up for 11am this morning.  Late enough that people got to do stuff but before it got really hot outside.  Evan's coach and his son joined us.

We stopped at a gas station and got Gatorades on the way over to the baseball complex.  We got there a little early in case the fields were locked or someone was on the field.  Before Evan's coach and son got there I pitched to the boys some.  When everyone got there we set up a boys vs parents game.  Evan's coach pitched to the boys while I fielded.  Then Evan and Barrett took turns pitching to us.  I have to say, both kids were able to pitch well to us.  There were no really bad pitches.  Evan's coach was a college baseball player so he batted left-handed and didn't swing strongly.  I came up in the first at bat and swung at a pitch.  I thought I did a half-swing but I guess not because I hit a home run over the fence.  I batted left-handed after that.  Rachel came and played for a while.  It was nice to have her play with us.

When we came home, the boys ate lunch and then just hung around the house.

For dinner we went to BJs.  Then we went to Sam's Club and got some stuff.

We gave the boys showers and now they are in bed.

Until next time...
